Responsibilities
Provides evidence based psychotherapeutic services to individuals, groups or families; treatment includes focus on integration of behavioral health and primary health wellness; works in office and community-based settings

Position Summary
We are currently hiring full-time counseling clinicians (LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT) to provide individual, couples, group, and/or family therapy to a diverse outpatient population. Clinicians manage their own caseloads with full administrative support, including scheduling, billing, credentialling, AI-enabled automated documentation (with client consent), and marketing.
Compensation
At Tailwinds, we believe every full-time licensed clinician deserves to earn at least six figures (plus benefits) on an annual basis within two years or less. Compensation is based on license type, licensure status, and tenure with the practice, and is calculated per billable clinical hour (i.e., hours billed to the client or insurance). Full-time clinicians are expected to maintain an average caseload of 25 clients per week and are eligible for benefits.
Compensation Structure
LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT:
· Year 1: 52% of revenue billed per billable hour
· Year 2: 55%
· Year 4+: 60%
Base earnings range reflects good-faith estimate of gross annual earnings for a Year 1 clinician with an average caseload of at least 25 clients/week.
Hiring Bonus

The Intern, Community Mental Health collaborates with Program Directors, Team Leaders, and Community Support Specialists to provide direct service to members. This includes but is not limited to group counseling/therapy, individual counseling/therapy, case management, teaching, assessment, assertive community treatment, job support, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and psycho-social rehabilitation services.
(This internship is designed to be completed for credit as part of a degree program. This is not a paid internship.)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Attend New Staff Orientation prior to starting the internship.
Provides direct service to members, as indicated by the service plan, while supervised by an appropriate, designated staff person. Consistent with the intern's level of experience and training, this potentially includes but is not limited to individual counseling/therapy, case management, teaching, assessment, assertive community treatment, job support, managing medications, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and group counseling/therapy. This may be done in the community or on site at a Thresholds location, but the majority of services will be provided in the community unless otherwise specified by a supervisor.
Completion of all assigned paperwork in a timely fashion, such as individual and group documentation, attendance reports, service plans and evaluations as assigned by the supervisor.
Provide accurate and timely information to the supervisor on all topics and issues important to the rehabilitation and well-being of Thresholds members.
Attend staff and team meetings as assigned by a supervisor.
Maintain a professional demeanor with members, colleagues, and collateral contacts consistent with agency ethics and code of conduct guidelines.
EDUCATION
Enrolled in Bachelor's or Master's degree program with a major in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counseling, Vocational Counseling, Family Therapy, or other related human service programs.

EXPERIENCE
Social service experience and/or experience working with individuals with mental illness preferred.
Ability to synthesize and summarize information and make judgments regarding member care.

Computer skills required; knowledge of database functions and maintenance necessary.

Job Description
The SDOH (Social Drivers of Health) Undergraduate Intern Program reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
The SDOH Internship Program will support our Patients First mission, as teams from diverse backgrounds bring enriched perspectives to problem-solving and are better equipped to identify gaps in understanding. Interns will participate in the implementation of a SDOH patient screening tool to help meet patient needs, especially focused on patients from underserved populations.
The Undergraduate Intern's responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Uphold the mission, standards and values of NMH.
Successfully complete projects and work tasks as assigned.
Develop a working knowledge of hospital operations to a degree that allows successful completion of projects supporting a variety of hospital operations.
Develop working relationships with staff and management that allows for successful business interactions across all levels of the organization.
Participation in activities designed for development of interns during their assignment at NMH.
Full communication with department managers and staff in order to successfully transition work at close of internship.
Additional duties, responsibilities and tasks will be outlined in an appended document to meet the needs of the individual and organization in each internship.

Job duties:
· To provide individual, group, and family counseling and other supportive services to assigned clients. Services are provided mostly to those that speak Spanish as a primary language.
· Provide individual, group, and family counseling using a trauma-informed and evidenced-based approach.
· Perform comprehensive intake, assessment, treatment planning, and diagnosis.
· Meet and maintain agency's standard direct service hours and quality of service.
· Maintain client files with clear and concise documentation of treatment efforts and in accordance with OMNI policies and contractual agreements using a trauma-informed approach.
· Prepare required reports, case notes, entry into appropriate billing database, and other documentation on a timely basis.
· Participate in program planning and development.
· Participate in individual and group supervision, including collaboration on case planning among all involved clinical staff.
· Maintain regular communication with collateral contacts such as police department, schools, other private or public agencies, and referral sources.
· Provide 24-hour crisis intervention services as needed. Respond to requests for emergency assistance from local police department, clients, and residents of the service area in-person or through telephone contact.
Requirements:
· Master's degree in human services field, preferably social work or counseling which includes clinical training in individual, family, and group modalities focusing on family systems and adolescent development.
- Fluent in English verbal and written communication. Fluency in Spanish, both verbal and written, is preferred.
· Flexibility and willingness to work evening and/or weekend hours if needed to carry out all job responsibilities.
· Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to clients' and coworkers' cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
· High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
· Work effectively with diverse workforce and client groups.
· Keen attention to detail and ability to multitask.
· Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills.
