Completes documentation in a timely and accurate manner reflecting ongoing assessment of client's clinical presentation and behaviors. Communicates client progress with the referral source, family, parent, or guardian informed of treatment goals and plans, as appropriate. Documents in accordance with policies and procedures services provided, incident reports, shift reports, or department reports in a timely and accurate manner. Communicates with referents, residents, and families appropriately and effectively. Uses the referral process to build relationships with new referents and engages in collaboration with referents. Addresses residents, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in a pleasant and respectful manner. Responds to clients and families with empathy and positive professional skills. Additional Responsibilities Can be relied upon to be at work as scheduled and is rarely absent from work, notifying the supervisor if absent. Reads, understands, and adheres to all company policy statements on ethics, conduct, and conflict of interests; adheres to facility policies, procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintains positive attitude and acts as a team player with others on the team. Attends and completes all trainings within assigned time frames as required by the facility. Provides consultation and coaching to direct care team members, as needed. Other duties as assigned. What We're Seeking Education and Experience Position requires a PhD, Psy.D, Ed.D in social work, marriage and family therapy or psychology. Position requires a minimum of one (2) years' experience in a behavioral healthcare setting, preferably with clients with mental health and substance use disorders, strongly preferred. Must have a valid Florida Department of Health license as LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or Psychologist. Other Requirements Position requires incumbent to have a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance and acceptable driving record. Clearance of TB test and any other mandatory state/federal requirements. Current CPR and First Aid certification. Records and maintains patient information in accordance with standard protocols, and the Privacy Act. Thoroughly exercises skills in initiative, judgment, problem-solving and decision-making daily. Pursues professional development activities and continuing education to ensure currency with present practices and trends in healthcare and specifically in the practice of emergency medical treatment. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications: 5 years minimum recent experience delivering behavioral health services. Master's degree from an accredited school in professional counseling/psychology or related field. Hold and maintain an active and unrestricted License and the ability to be favorability credentialed by Acuity policy. Must be current in all required certifications. Specialty and/or experience in trauma (PTSD, Acute Traumatic Stress). Experience with Military and/or Law Enforcement personnel and/or experience serving as or working as a Military Mental Health Specialist. Experience with Employee Assistance Program (EAP) type issues. Have extensive experience with varied treatment modalities (i.e., visualization, EFT, yoga, EMDR, etc…) and incorporate that in behavioral health care practices. Must be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, be organized, and have excellent verbal and communication skills. Ability to adapt to sudden changes and flexibility in work requirements to include potential shift changes based on operational needs and/or command priorities. Ability to work well with senior management and across functions to achieve business objectives. Proficient in Microsoft applications, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Requires a favorable security background check and drug screen. Shall demonstrate proficiency in the use of basic word processing programs and the Acuity Medical Management Systems software. All health care providers and medical support staff must have recent clinical experience in patient care for at least 6 months out of the past year. Must have a valid, current U.S. Driver's License. Must have a valid U.S. Passport with no less than 6 months remaining before expiration. Shall be proficient in the ability to speak, write, and communicate in English. Requires a favorably adjudicated CNACI investigation conducted by the Department of Defense. Must sign an International Assignment Agreement (IAA) and is bound to the terms and conditions of the IAA.
