Clinical Psychologist - Veteran Disability Assessments
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our team in performing medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. In performing Disability Assessments, you will review behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal and perform a comprehensive assessment in-person on each Veteran.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans.
Review and analyze electronic medical records via a secure web portal.
Accurately document exam findings and complete the required VA forms.
Note: This role does not involve treatment or prescribing medication. Disability determinations are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), not by the provider.
Position Details:
Schedule: Part-Time (3 days/week: M, W, F)
Location: In-person role.
Caseload: 4 Veterans per day on average.
Equipment Provided: Computer and all necessary tools for documentation.

Responsibilities include:
Provide evidence-based psychotherapy services
Evaluate new clients through biopsychosocial, diagnostic assessments
Create client-centered treatment plans, utilizing SMART objectives
100% electronic documentation, with simple progress notes (that take 3-5 minutes to complete!)
Engaging in collaborative team learning experiences
Therapists focus on therapy. Zeeva takes care of everything else, including: scheduling new clients, marketing, billing, and more.

Qualifications:
Nevada licensed therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LCPC, or Clinical Psychologist) or state intern (CSW-I, MFT-I, CPC-I)

Ensures and delivers the provision of treatment services including the Initial Service Plan, Assessment, Individual Treatment Plan, Progress Notes and discharge plan in accordance with Desert Parkway Behavioral Healthcare Hospital.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Evaluates patient data, develops and implements a plan of care for the patient.
Ensures that each patient has an individual treatment plan which addresses the patient's immediate health, safety, and preliminary service needs.
Completes assessment summaries of each patient's chemical use problems.
Provides individual treatment plan after completion of assessment which is subject to amendment until services to the client are terminated.
Enters progress notes in each patient's chart after each treatment service. Progress notes must reference the individual treatment plan.
Provides individual and group counseling, client education strategies to avoid inappropriate chemical use and health problems related to chemical use, transition services, and services to address issues related to co-occurring mental illness. Works cooperatively as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team.
Initiate and maintain ongoing communication with patient referral, probation, social service agencies, etc.
Appropriately utilizes established resources to assist in completing case management duties independently.
Documents treatment provided to patients in their medical record based on established case management guidelines.
Completes all reports for suspected abuse as legally mandated and consistently informs supervisor.
Schedule is Sunday - Thursday
Requirements
Masters Degree required
Current Nevada CADC, LADC or LCADC licensure required.
One (1) year clinical experience in an inpatient or Alcohol and Drug Abuse facility.
Experience with therapeutic limit-setting helpful or an understanding of level systems or other behavior management modalities helpful.
Ability to maintain professional boundaries.

Objective:
WC Health is looking for In Person Psychotherapists to join our team! We are a fast-
growing Behavioral Health and Medical Clinic offering therapy, psychiatry, medical, case
management and placement services. Psychotherapists at WC Health provide
assessment, diagnosis and treatment of individuals and groups with mental health,
substance use and emotional/behavioral issues. We are currently hiring for full-time and
contract positions (minimum of 15 hour commitment required for contractors).
Essential Functions:
Conduct psychosocial intake assessments and crisis/risk assessments and
interventions with clients
Conduct treatment planning, care coordination and discharge planning with clients
Conduct individual and group therapy with clients
Participate in Intervention Treatment Team meetings, Interdisciplinary Treatment
