The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Nurse Corps Loan Repayment Program offers loan repayment to registered nurses, advanced practice registered nurses, and nursing faculty in exchange for a two-year service commitment at a health care facility with a critical shortage of nurses (or, for nurse faculty, an eligible school of nursing). Awardees receive payments totaling 60 percent of their qualifying nursing school loan balance, and up to an additional 25 percent of their original loan balance for an optional year of service.Education A registered nurse holding current license in the State of Illinois, who has successfully completed additional didactic training in order to qualify as a nurse practitioner and holds current license in the State of Illinois as an advanced practice nurse OR a physician assistant with an active IL license. Your Role: Clinician, Assessment and Crisis Response - Heritage Behavioral Health Center - Clinton, Illinois As an Assessment and Crisis Clinician, you will be the first point of contact for individuals seeking mental health and substance use treatment in Clinton, Illinois. This role provides same-day access for children, adolescents, and adults, ensuring timely and compassionate care. You will conduct intake, screening, and comprehensive assessments using IM+CANS and ASAM, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver crisis intervention services. You will also serve as a Crisis Counselor on the Mobile Crisis Response (MCR) Team, responding to behavioral health crises in DeWitt and Piatt counties. Guided by the philosophy of “anyone, anytime, anywhere,” you will provide on-site crisis stabilization, safety planning, and linkage to ongoing care in homes, schools, hospitals, and community settings. Core Responsibilities: Provide same-day access assessments for individuals presenting mental health or substance use concerns.
