Qualifications To be considered for the position, you must meet the following: Basic Requirements: Degree: Satisfactory completion of all the requirements for a doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology is required. Experience: At least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level. Some examples of the qualifying experience are: * Experience assessing and providing evidence based psychological treatment to inmates with serious mental illness and inmates confined in restrictive housing or secure housing settings. * Experience training clinical and non-clinical staff in the implementation of CBT programs to ensure fidelity to evidence based models through oral presentations, written instructions, clinical supervision, and/or protocol development. * Experience implementing a suicide prevention program to include assessing inmates for suicidality, training staff in identifying and referring potentially suicidal inmates, reviewing fatal or near fatal events, and identifying and resolving systemic weaknesses.
