This position will be based in thepediatric primary care clinic at Dartmouth Health Clinic in Nashua, NH. As a member of the Collaborative Care team, you would have the opportunity to work closely with pediatric primary care providers, child psychiatrists, and other clinical staff to care for children and adolescents with behavioral health concerns directly in the primary care setting. Episodes of care are typically brief (up to 12 weeks), employ evidence-based treatments, and may include in-person sessions and telephone outreach calls. The ideal candidate will be a skilled clinician with experience in or willingness to learn about the Collaborative Care Model. The candidate will also be a strong team player with excellent communication skills and will enjoy working in a busy pediatric primary clinic. We are offering a $7,500 sign-on/retention bonus for this position. *The bonus is available for external hires only, and certain conditions apply. ASCEND is seeking Restorative Housing Mental Health Residential Specialists to provide support using a psychiatric rehabilitation approach to adults in a residential treatment program. Genesis & Pearl Street Genesis and Pearl Street residences offer a group home environment which provides a high level of support for people in the earliest stages of recovery. The overall goal is to provide short-term, focused skill development in a home-like setting. The first step in treatment is defining and developing a rehabilitation plan which aids a person's movement to the next stage in their recovery. This individualized, highly detailed plan clarifies needs, charts a course of action and provides the framework to evaluate progress. Services available to residents include crisis intervention, rehabilitation counseling, social and living skills development (money management, personal hygiene, food preparation, meal planning, recreation activities, etc.), symptom and medication management, community integration and resource development. On duty around the clock staff work closely with each resident to maximize stability and help in the transition to a less restrictive environment. Longer term assistance is available for people with problems preventing them from living outside a group setting. Community Living Apartments The Community Living Apartments Program offers two types of living arrangements: Maple Street and Satellite apartments. Both include support and guidance through individualized service plans created in partnership with the service recipient. Services are a continuation and expansion of those services provided in the Community Residences and carry the ultimate goal of achieving an independent, successful life for each resident. Residents learn more about managing symptoms through medication and therapy, improving daily living skills, pursuing educations, vocational and employment goals, solving transportation needs, and increasing their comfort with broader social interaction. Staff meet with recipients from one to seven days each week to provide direct services and supportive counseling. Maple Street is a single-site apartment building with nine units and 24 hour staffing.     Senior Clinician Investigator Intervention, Services Delivery, or Implementation Science Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center - Lebanon, NH The Department of Psychiatry at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health located in beautiful northern New England is seeking a mid-career or Senior Clinician Investigator and faculty member (MD, PhD or MD/PhD) with an established research program in interventions, health care delivery science or implementation science to complement faculty and clinical strengths of the department. In this position, the successful candidate will have 3 main components to their role: Research: Lead and continue to build a successful program of externally funded, high-impact applied research, typically leading to program projects, center grants, and/or research training grants. Ideally, research will connect to active departmental clinical activities and initiatives. Mentor: Actively mentor early career researchers in developing their own independently funded research careers through, for example, K awards and other mentored career development awards and postdoctoral research fellows. Leadership: Strengthen the research infrastructure of the Department of Psychiatry, by, for example: (a) helping lead the department's early career research funding programs; (b) building research collaborations within the department and across Dartmouth Health (DH); (c) collaborating in the design and implementation of the department's research education and mentoring programs; and/or (d) joining in the leadership of relevant research programs across DH (see opportunities, below).
