Responsibilities and Duties
As an Associate Clinician you would be under direct clinical supervision. You will be provided a high level of training and 1:1 time to learn all industry wide best practices with clinical documentation (CDAs, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, etc.)
Complete comprehensive diagnostic assessments and evaluate and provide mentalhealth diagnosis within the first week of services, and update yearly. Create and implement a treatment plans 30 days after initiating treatment, and update every 90 days. Complete progress notes for every session according to company policy.
Full-time clinicians schedule a minimum of 30 clients per week and are expected to execute a minimum of 25 sessions per week. Most schedule more, exceed the minimum, and make more money!
Provide excellent customer service for clients, and be highly responsive to all communications.
Collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as indicated
Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings, and other fun stuff that we do

Required Qualifications and Skills
Candidates are required to have a masters degree (or very close to it) in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university and on track to obtain licensure in their designated field
Candidates should minimally have Idaho state licensure(Intern, LPC, LAMFT, LMSW) and actively pursuing clinical licensure.
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
Proficient (or can be with a little training) in the use of Microsoft Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience a plus!)
Comfort with collecting the patient's financial responsibility at time of service and discussing billing issues with clients
Comfort with be your client's primary form of contact for all needs. (our model does not have an office receptionist)
Ability to pass a background check

Maintain a caseload of a minimum of 20 scheduled sessions per week and a minimum of 15 executed client visits per week. You can choose to work more and in turn you will make more. But if you want to schedule 30+ and execute 25+ you should check out our full time position with higher compensation and increased benefits.
Provide excellent customer service for clients
Collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community

In this role, you will build and sustain therapeutic relationships with clients in diverse settings, including hospitals, homes, and community environments. You'll collaborate with clients to develop and adapt individualized treatment plans that reflect their goals and evolving needs, while advocating for their rights and ensuring their voices remain central in care decisions. You'll coordinate with community partners to integrate holistic supports, provide education and guidance to families and caregivers, deliver individual supportive therapy, respond to crises, and lead the Individual Treatment Team (ITT) by offering clinical oversight to ensure cohesive, client-centered service delivery.
Requirements
Current licensure as LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or LAMFT.
Master's degree in a human services field (e.g., social work, counseling, psychology), with postgraduate clinical experience and appropriate clinical endorsement.
Demonstrated knowledge of administrative procedures related to Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) or other federally funded community health settings.
Proficiency in computer applications required for maintaining electronic health records (EHR) and effective internal communication.
Essential Functions:
Deliver direct therapeutic services to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices.
Conduct assessments and provide accurate clinical diagnoses.
Maintain up-to-date and compliant counseling charts; routinely audit for accuracy and completeness.
Complete service notes within 48 hours of client contact in alignment with documentation standards.
Participate in daily ACT team meetings (Monday through Friday) to ensure coordinated care.
Attend monthly Mental/Behavioral Health meetings, as well as staff, provider, and other organizational meetings as required.
Ensure compliance with state and federal documentation and service delivery guidelines.
Demonstrate knowledge and application of evidence -based therapeutic models and best practices.
Exhibit professional role modeling, organizational, communication, and client engagement skills.
Attend and actively participate in off-site trainings, meetings, and seminars as needed.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance, as it is an essential function of this position.
Coordinate and participate in the activities of the Individual Treatment Team (ITT), including building a comprehensive understanding of each client's life circumstances, goals, and preferences, collaborating with clients to develop and revise individualized treatment plans, presenting treatment options and ensuring plans are responsive to evolving client needs, advocating for client rights, wishes, and personalized care preferences.
Perform other related duties as assigned to support program goals and client outcomes.
