Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced MentalHealth Clinician to provide comprehensive psychiatric and behavioral health services within a correctional health setting. Qualifications:
Must hold a valid New York State license to provide mentalhealth services (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT) required.
Advance degree in mentalhealth counselling, social work or related field required.

The Online Community Intern will be responsible for supporting the IAVA Programs department to promote engagement within CoV through outreach and communications with members, posting content and resources, and scheduling live chats and other events. The Online Community Intern will report to the Senior Program Manager.
The Online Community Intern will:
Interact with Iraq and Afghanistan veterans online and off by conducting outreach to promote CoV sign-ups at IAVA events and interacting with veteran members in CoV
Learn about methods for digital outreach and engagement, through drafting social media announcements and blog posts, and through planning and executing online events, such as webinars and live chats
Learn about mentalhealth issues affecting this generation of veterans and gain exposure to key resources
Enhance skills in data analysis by monitoring and reporting on trends among CoV member needs and interests
Assist with creating and executing a crisis prevention and response system within CoV
Qualifications

Develop and facilitate approximately 6 -8 groups, according to protocol and curriculum, which will cover CRS, ORS, IR and Clinical Services as dictated.
Conduct individual counseling sessions to assist program participants with attainment of the life role goals specified in their IRPs.
Document consumers' progress towards goals in monthly progress notes and determine the need for addition or subtraction of services offered to each participant on an ongoing basis.
Coordinate treatment including the sharing of Individual Recovery Plans and Progress Notes for participants who are co-enrolled with other agencies as necessary.
Provide services according to Evidence Based Practices including Wellness Self Management, Family Psychoeducation (CCFC), Medication Management, Co-occurring Disorders (IDDT), and Supported Employment (IPS).
Coordinate follow-up services once a participant is ready for discharge from the program.
Act as a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team, including participation in weekly administrative, clinical and utilization review meetings.
Assume overall responsibility for maintenance of client records, including timely documentation of services in Electronic Health Record (AWARDS), as required by Medicaid and the Office of MentalHealth.
Develop and maintain collateral relationships with consumers' other providers and family as clinically indicated
Carry a 24-hour support cell phone in rotation with the clinical team.

(PT and FT) * Malpractice Insurance Provided * PTO & Holiday (Full-Time) Key Responsibilities: * Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions for patients in a subacute or skilled nursing facility. * Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of emotional and behavioral health conditions, including depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and cognitive decline. * Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the needs of each patient. * Collaborate with facility staff, interdisciplinary teams, and family members to support patient care. * Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards using our clinician-designed electronic medical/health system (EHR). * Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Requirements: * Active and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in State applying for. * Effective oral and written communication in English and Spanish * Basic proficiency with technology, including electronic health records (EHR). * Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to regulatory compliance. * Ability to provide in-person services at assigned facilities, up to 45 minutes. * Ability to walk, stand, and move between patient rooms and offices within the facility throughout the day. * Full Vaccination and Booster Status may be required in some facilities.
