Position Summary: Altamira is seeking qualified candidates to fill our Active Geolocation Senior Mentor positions in Augusta, GA. The Active Geolocation Senior Mentor possesses certified skill-sets in multiple specialized, technical capabilities that will contribute direct operational and training support for a 24/7, 365-day workforce. Position Description: The Active Senior Mentor will provide on-site, real-time mentoring support, develop working aids, maintain qualification records for geolocation operator proficiency improvement, develop course curriculum and training references; provide advice for job qualification standards; maintain currency by supporting real-world SIGINT operations; and instruct platform-training courses in the area of active geolocation operations. This position may require the assignment to work rotating shifts. Required Qualifications: The Active Geolocation Senior Mentor will possess the following capabilities: Five (5) years of operation and/or instruction experience within the last seven (7) years producing multi-mode precision geolocation solutions Current or previous experience and instructor certification in one or more relevant geolocation technologies Must hold an Active Operator Certification, or be eligible for recertification Must obtain one Operator Instructor Certification within 30 days of assignment Clearance Required: TS/SCI w/Polygraph Desired Qualifications: Current or previous experience as a certified instructor supporting the training and operational support to one or more geolocation technologies Ability and willingness to obtain multiple geolocation specialized certifications Altamira is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer. SI mentors attend SI training meetings, conduct SI session observations, complete SI observation reports, and meet with the SI supervisor throughout the semester. SI mentors establish rapport with assigned SI leaders and conference with them individually to review their observed performance. SI mentors also assist in the preparation of SI training materials. Qualifications: SI mentors must have excellent communication skills. Prior SI leader or tutoring experience is beneficial, but not required. Must have sophomore standing or higher, a minimum of 3.0 overall GPA, and a referral from Mercer faculty.
