Writing Mentors, under the supervision of the Writing Center Coordinator, provide tutoring to students seeking to become stronger writers and better self-editors. Available positions include weekly in-person shifts on campus during business hours, typically five hours per week. Training will be provided upon hiring for SBTS style and writing coaching. Metcalfe County School is needing 21st CCLC Afterschool Student Peer-Mentors for all locations. Must be a MCHS student (25-26 school year) and at least 15 years of age. Student workers must be willing to work with any age students as a peer mentor. Students must have a teacher recommendation to be eligible for hire and must be in good academic standing.
