Responsibilities: Assist in installing electrical systems. Strip insulation from wire ends, using wire stripping pliers, and attach wires to terminals for subsequent soldering. Thread conduit ends and connect couplings and conduit fittings using wrench. Secure brackets to bulkheads with screws and bolts and pull wires through conduit leading to connection boxes, switch panels, and other terminals. Use tools such as conduit benders, screwdrivers, pliers, knives, hacksaws, and wire strippers. Examine electrical units for loose connections and broken insulation and tighten connections, using hand tools. Clean work area and wash parts. Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment and keep parts and supplies in order. Transport tools, materials, equipment, and supplies to work site by hand, hand truck, or heavy, motorized truck. Thread conduit ends, connect couplings, and fabricate and secure conduit support brackets, using hand tools. Requisition materials, using warehouse requisition or release forms. Consult with engineers, engineering technicians, line installers and repairers, or industrial machinery mechanics and maintenance workers when performing installations. Able to work extra hours, at night or on week-ends and irregular shifts. Able to respond to emergency calls. Able to support other departments or projects according to business needs. Qualifications Requirements/Knowledge/Education/Skills: Associate degree in a relevant science, biology, chemistry, environmental discipline or related field. Technical degree with years of equivalent industrial/commercial experience in boiler operation or wastewater treatment facility where water softeners and chemical treatments were used. Any combination of experience motors and pumps. Must possess W-4 License. Physical Requirements and Working Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, feel, or operate equipments, tools, or controls. Essential Functions: The GMP Cleaning and Sanitization Technician is responsible for providing facility/equipment cleaning, and sanitization, in support of GMP manufacturing and technical areas. All work to be completed to assure minimal impact to production while aligning with Standard Operating Procedure's (SOP's), Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP's) and client/site facilities regulations. You will be asked also to perform housekeeping activities such as keep clearing work areas, equipment, facility, utility, mezzanine and office areas in addition to keep process and results documents up-to-date. You will also assist the team with maintaining an up-to-date working inventory for the equipment/supplies that the team is responsible for to ensure everything runs smoothly. Assist the Group Leader or Supervisor in performing regular building areas inspections regarding cleaning and sanitization activities. Follow the process to remove trash, recyclables, garments, biowaste, garbage from facilities, and move them into proper containers. Qualifications Requirements/Knowledge/Education/Skills: Associate's degree and 4 years of hands-on leadership experience within manufacturing facilities environment or other related field OR High school diploma / GED and 6 years of hands-on leadership experience within manufacturing facilities environment or other related field. Experience working in a cleanroom environment is highly preferred. Experience in Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) is required. Computer Software Skills: Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a beginner to intermediate level. Work in a team environment with the flexibility to work shifts as scheduled (weekends, holidays as required) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Intermediate Intermediate math skills with an ability to calculate with percentages and decimals is required. Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saw. Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment. Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge. Will frequently work in outdoor weather conditions or inside a customer job-site where safety equipment must be worn. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications Requirements/Knowledge/Education/Skills: High School diploma and knowledge of doors and tools along with a basic understanding of doors repairment. Knowledge of electrical wiring and welding techniques, and industrial and/or commercial doors. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, talk, or hear; sit; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and smell. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. He / she may frequently work inside weather conditions, near moving mechanical parts, exposed to wet and or humid conditions, and an odorous atmosphere, may be exposed to fumes and the risk of electrical shock, and occasionally work on ladders in high places, in small spaces, such as lift/metering stations, manholes, tanks and wet wells. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately loud.
