Role Purpose As a Menzies Aviation Ramp Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the unloading and loading of luggage, freight and cargo on and off commercial aircraft. The Ramp Supervisor will also drive and operate small specialized commercial vehicles. This position will require heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and stretching. What you will be doing * Supervise and support lead ramp agents, including mentoring, conducting shift briefings, ramp agent resource allocation, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations. * Handle personnel processes such as interviewing, hiring, training, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions and addressing complaints and resolving problems as needed for violations of company policy. * Complete administrative tasks, including shift reports, timecard signing, and disciplinary incident and/or termination reports. * Oversee cargo and baggage operations, including loading/unloading aircraft and transporting items between terminals and facilities. * Operate ground support equipment and interpret key documentation like weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous material labels, aircraft loading manifests, and baggage routing tags. * Report any significant deficiency in our products, materials and documents and suggest any improvements to working practices especially those relating to Safety and security.
