Role Purpose
Communicate flight release and fuel load information to appropriate operations.
Maintain lines of communication with line operations and air carriers through the use of two-way radios.
Coordinate operations with the airline and ground handlers.
Maintain flight logs and update flight schedules.
Coordinate with departments in billing for services rendered and compile information for each flight and submit for final bill preparation.
Make arrangements for accommodation when flight delays occur.
Handle phone traffic.
Assist in the planning and control of the gate assignment.
Assist with passenger services as required.
Recommend weight and balance preparation in accordance with airline requirements.
Is able to meet the Station's attendance standards.

How You Will Impact Smurfit Westrock:
Focus on maintaining equipment in working order through preventive maintenance and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical failures in a fast-paced environment.
Enforce plant safety regulations and encourage employees to become safety conscious.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on electrical equipment, including motors, motor control centers (MCCs), transformers, switches, and wiring.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical faults in complex machinery such as corrugators, printing presses, die cutters, and material handling systems.
Troubleshoot and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs).
Install, maintain, and calibrate various sensors, transducers, and measuring instruments.
Ensure all electrical installations and repairs comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and company standards.
Strictly adhere to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and other plant safety policies.
Maintain and repair high-voltage equipment and control systems.
Keep accurate records of all maintenance work performed, parts used, and system documentation.
Assist with the installation and commissioning of new production equipment and control systems.
Collaborate with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic technicians to resolve complex operational issues.
Participate in root cause analysis of failures to implement corrective actions and improve machine reliability.
Provide support for mechanical maintenance tasks as needed to ensure production uptime including predictive and preventative maintenance.
What You Need to Succeed:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician, preferably in a manufacturing environment (corrugated, paper, or heavy industry experience is a significant plus).
Proven experience working with 480V three-phase systems and various control voltages.
Proficiency with electrical test equipment (e.g., multimeters, ammeters, megohmmeters).
Expert knowledge of electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
Strong aptitude for troubleshooting and programming PLCs and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
Massachusetts Electrical license or the equivalent certification
Willingness to work on both mechanical and electrical projects.
Excellent safety awareness and commitment to safe work practices.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle emergency repairs under pressure.
Excellent communication skills
High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree or technical certification is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
Ability to work in a loud, fast-paced industrial environment, which may include exposure to heat, dust, and chemicals.
This role is primarily the first shift; however, the successful candidate must be willing to work shifts, weekends, and on-call as required to support operations.
The starting rate is $34-40 per hour based on experience, depending on your role, level, and location. The benefits for this role may include short-term bonus incentive, health, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts or health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and paid sick leave as required by applicable state/local law, 10 days of paid vacation will be granted, and 11 days of paid holidays, subject to annual change. Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) is a non-destructive testing method. It is used to detect surface defects in metallic and non-metallic components, including metal castings, forgings, and other machined parts used in industrial applications.
The person selected is required to attend FPI Certification training in March of 2026
QA Inspector- FPI
Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, the QA FPI Inspector is responsible for following all policies and procedures associated with the various parts and equipment that they may be required to run. In addition, inspectors must load/unload parts, inspect parts using various precision measuring tools, accept or reject parts, and communicate any changes, both verbally and in writing.
Analyze and interpret Op sheets, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and travelers to produce products that meet or exceed customer specifications.
Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to customer specifications, using precision measuring tools and equipment as necessary, such as borescopes, rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers. (A MUST HAVE)
Perform and document the scheduled FPI test log and reports
Maintain, test, and replenish dipping solutions
Clean parts using chemical degreaser and parts wash machine
Prep parts using specialized material
Inspect parts using ultraviolet light
Report proper labor hours in the ERP system
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by performing daily housekeeping duties
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
Follow all Hi-Tek policies and procedures, including the use of proper PPE
Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishment.

What You Will Do:

About the position:
Captain in EMB-120 Brasilia
GEG based flights reposition to their outstations Monday afternoon and return to GEG. Tue-Fri, they depart GEG in the morning, returning to base in the evening. One flight ends Friday evening. The other lays over in Seattle Friday night and returns to GEG Saturday AM.

Base salary is $97,091 annually

Requirements
Must meet FAR 135.243(c) requirements for PIC in IFR conditions
3,000 TT, 1000 PIC, 500 hours XC (defined at point to point), 500 multi, 500 turbine, 200 hours instrument (50 must be in an aircraft), 100 hours night
Previous FAR121/135 experience required
Instrument Proficiency Check or 121/135 recurrent within past 6 months
Commercial Pilot License multi-engine land with instrument rating, high performance and complex endorsements
First Class Medical for international operations
FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
Current Passport
English Proficient
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and travel unrestricted in and out of the U.S.
Must successfully completion of DOT mandated pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
Must meet airport badging requirements, including a TSA Security background check
Must have and maintain a valid Driver's License and meet all company insurance criteria
