Mercer Advisors CEO and leadership

Michael joined Mercer Advisors in June 2020 as Chief Financial Officer and member of the executive leadership team. As CFO, Michael has responsibility for all financial aspects of the company and functions as a strategic business partner to the CEO, executive team, and board. Michael brings over 25 years of experience as a CFO and finance leader with deep expertise in consumer-focused businesses evolving through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions. Prior to joining Mercer Advisors, Michael served as the CFO of Active Interest Media and the Denver Post. He has a bachelor's degree in business from William Patterson University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Michael lives in Highlands Ranch, Colorado with his wife Debbie and two daughters.

Deb Atwater-Robles is a CFO/Treasurer at Mercer Advisors and Chief Accounting Officer at Mercer Advisors and is based in Santa Ynez, California. She has worked as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer at InfoGenesis; Chief Financial Officer at JetCenters of Colorado; and Audit Supervising Senior at KPMG. Deb studied at California State University, Northridge and California State University-Long Beach between 1984 and 1986.

Responsible for the management of core operation functions including Investment Operations, Technology, M&A Integration, Branch Operations and Facilities. Previously held Client Advisor, Branch Manager, Managing Director and Head of Client Service positions for Mercer Advisors. Prior to joining the firm, Loren worked for a major investment bank handling financial planning and investments for high net worth individuals and institutions. He is an active member of the Financial Planning Association. Loren is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional and has an MBA degree.

As Chief Talent and Business Solutions Officer, Martine oversees Talent Management, HR, and Compliance as well as leads cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving the offering for Mercer's clients. Prior to joining Mercer, Martine was a Principal and both the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at Sullivan, Bruyette, Speros & Blayney, a Registered Investment Advisor in Mclean, VA.

Martine earned her bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Duke University and an MBA from Georgetown University. She’s a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. She consulted with Keir Educational Resources as a writer and instructor for CFP® exam review courses. In addition, Martine served as a member of the Schwab Advisor Services Technology, Operations & Service Advisory Board.

Martine is a National Technical Official for USA Weightlifting and enjoys officiating at Olympic Weightlifting competitions. She also serves on both the Fundraising and Finance committees for USA Weightlifting. In her free time, Martine enjoys CrossFit, traveling with friends, and hanging out with her rescue tabby cat.
