Your Day at Lowe's
As a Merchandising Services Associate, you ensure our store's signage, pricing information, and displays are accurate so merchandise is easy to locate. You create product displays that are safe, clean, visually appealing, and easy for customers to access.

Jack Flash Convenience Stores is a family-owned retailer focused on providing customers with superior service and great products in the most appealing environment. We are currently looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Store Merchandiser in Pana, IL.
We believe that people are the most important aspect of our business; therefore, a Store Merchandiser must have good interpersonal skills in dealing with customers, fellow Team Members and vendors.
Applicants should have sufficient Exposure in a similar type of retail environment. Preferably with some management and/or Merchandising experience, as well as proficient computer skills (Excel, Windows,etc.)
The Store Merchandiser job responsibilities include the following:
Display strong organizational skills.
Maintain visual integrity of the sales floor.
Ordering gift and novelty products based on sales.
Ensure timely shipment processing including tagging, pricing, discounting, as determined by the Category Managers.
Great time management skills.
Ensures quantity's match invoicing and has the ability to input invoices in to the inventory control system.
Conduct physical inventory counts and analyzes inventory over shorts with the store manager and category manager.
Keep inventory shortages to a minimum.
Clean the shelves and merchandise weekly to maintain attractive displays and inventory.
Provide Jack Flash customers with excellent Service, Quality, Cleanliness and Value.
Responsible for stores upkeep and appearance.
Maintain product fullness and cleanliness and set up and maintain sales displays.
Monitoring the velocity reports on PlUs and use the information to determine action plans for slow moving products as well as for high velocity products to maintain on hand inventory to meet Sales needs.
Other tasks as required
Minimum qualifications:
Applicants must be a high school graduate with college degree preferred or equivalent experience in a similar position.
Applicants must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to customers, store managers and vendors.
Applicants must be able to stoop, bend and perform excessive standing and walking.
Applicants must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Applicants must have a valid state driving license.
