The HIV Customer Representative is a key member of the Customer Team and plays a critical role in supporting our Company's customer centric business model. **Territory Information:**
+ This is a field-based sales position that is responsible for covering the San Jose, California territory.
+ This role also includes and is not limited to Fresno, California.

**Position Qualifications:**

+ Valid Driver's license.
+ Willing to travel within the assigned territory to visit customers in-person and for national sales meetings/conferences.

**Regional Medical Scientific Director - Cardiovascular & Metabolism** The Cardiovascular & Metabolism Regional Medical Scientific Director (RMSD) is a credentialed (i.e., PhD, PharmD, DNP, MD) therapeutic and disease expert who engages in bidirectional exchange of scientific or medical information with Scientific Leaders (SLs). This MSL-type role provides balanced, factual, scientific information about non-product areas of interest to the Company and replies to scientific questions from SLs, including questions about Company products. Cardiovascular & Metabolism RMSDs liaise between the scientific community and the Company to enhance the comprehension of scientific foundations and goals for approved, in-development, and active Company-sponsored trials and/or investigator-sponsored research studies. The RMSD serves as a role model for other field medical team members in ways that include on-boarding and/or sharing of therapeutic expertise.

**Responsibilities and Primary Activities**
**Scientific Exchange:**
+ Develops professional relationships and engages with national and regional SLs to ensure access to company-approved medical and scientific information on areas of therapeutic interest and Company products

Position Summary
The District Business Manager is a critical role in our unique customer model to execute the BMS aspiration to be the BioPharma that delivers the most impactful engagement with Health Care Providers (HCPs), driving adoption of new and existing medicines for appropriate patients.
The primary role of the DBM is to be accountable for leading, coaching, and motivating a team of approximately 6- 10 TASs to drive the adoption of BMS assigned Cardiovascular portfolio and generate demand. The DBM is accountable for coaching of TASs on specific learning objectives (selling skills, scientific engagement, and use of digital capabilities) and for ensuring continuous improvement in the core skills of their team. The DBM also plays a leadership role in business and account planning and championing the utilization of new digital capabilities and tools such as Medical on Call and CE^3.

The DBM role is field-based. A DBM is anticipated to spend 100% of their time in the field with TASs, depending on the geographic area.
Key Responsibilities
Focused in-role coaching and developing of TASs

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience or other related industry experience.
- Prior experience as a District Business Manager in Pharmaceutical Sales, or equivalent experience in leading and managing high-performing teams is strongly preferred.
- Pharma experience is strongly preferred, including an understanding of reimbursement processes, access, and distribution environment.
- Proven track record of inspiring and leading teams to meet or exceed expectations and goals.
- Proven successful track record of selecting, developing, and retaining talented individuals.

Summary

Leads area geography and team of Specialty Account Managers (SAMs) to ensure market penetration by analyzing and understanding market dynamics and data, setting related strategic action plans and excellence in execution in order to ensure that sales goals are achieved within the Ophthalmology space.
Provides a clear, compelling sales purpose both clinically and business wise for the team members.
Ensures the effective and appropriate use of resources, including territory management tools/data, cross functional partners, marketing tools, etc.
Builds business strategy and strategic impact in line with corporate and therapeutic area goals.
Leads market development initiatives in line with corporate and therapeutic area goals.
Manages administrative duties, ongoing learning of self and team members, operational expenses, program funding, etc.
Ensures that team members operate within regulatory guidelines in all aspects of promotion, program implementation and product compliance.
Ensures the team is trained and prepared to maximize business/sales potential, and that the product message is crisp, clear and consistently delivered with high impact.
Achieves organizational sales goal volume, proper target reach / frequency objectives as well as other relevant KPIs related to excellence in execution.
Establishes a productive work environment by creating trust and respect within the broader national Ophthalmology sales team and establishes self as a business partner across the business unit.
Must be able to work closely with and effectively collaborate across all divisions within the business unit to achieve business objectives.

Basic Qualifications:Doctorate degree AND 2 years of Sales/Marketing experience
OR
Master's degree AND 6 years of Sales/Marketing experience
OR
Bachelor's degree or AND 8 years of Sales/Marketing experience
And
2 years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs or directing the allocation of resources.
Preferred Qualifications:
Sales experience in biologics, infusion, and/or rare/specialty products preferred.
Rare disease experience strongly preferred; Rare Disease launch experience preferred.
Immunology and / or Rheumatology experience preferred.
Buy-and-bill experience preferred.
Experience working with institutions and integrated delivery networks preferred.
Requires approximately 80% travel, some overnight and weekend commitments.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Professional, proactive demeanor.
