The Vaccine Customer Representative (VCR) supports customers by providing clinical information on our Company's vaccines, as well as education and resources. They do this to support customer operational and financial needs such as reimbursement information and contract adherence in an effort to help the provider or system increase their immunization rates among appropriate patients and help protect them from vaccine preventable diseases.
The Vaccine Customer Representative (VCR) is the primary point of contact for a variety of customers within their assigned geography. These customers may include health care providers such as physicians, nurses, pharmacists as well as quality directors, immunization managers, and office managers. Within their geography there are a diverse set of health care locations that they will call upon in order to execute their role including: clinics, health departments, integrated delivery systems, and hospitals. The VCR is a key member of the local Customer Team that works collaboratively with other field-based employees such as the Vaccine Key Customer Leader (VKCL), Vaccine Medical Affairs Leader (VMAL), Region Medical Director (RMD) as well as other members of the extended team.
**Territory Information:**
+ This territory covers San Diego, CA including but not limited to National City, El Cajon, and El Centro.
+ The ideal location to reside is within this territory.
+ Travel (%) varies based on candidate's location within the geography.
**The primary activities include:**
+ Engaging in balanced product sales presentations with Health Care Providers and Health Care Business Professionals to align customer needs and our Company's vaccine attribute in accordance with product labeling, and CDC and professional society recommendations.
+ Providing Company Vaccine management with updates on customer needs as it relates to helping them improve patient health outcomes, customer feedback, marketplace dynamics, and progress towards quality goals.
+ Providing customers with key insights by keeping apprised of professional and health care environment knowledge through self-study of company-provided scientific, product and marketplace information, attendance at product workshops and conferences, as well as consistent and ongoing review of our Company's promotional materials.
+ Utilizing analytical skills and tools to engage customers in quarterly business reviews regarding their vaccine contract to educate customers on the best ways to maximize their contract performance across the Company portfolio.
+ Assisting customers with education to improve their organization's immunization rates through adherence to quality-based programs using appropriate tools such as Vaccine IQ.
+ Regularly monitoring their business performance against objectives using company provided tools.
+ Developing a territory level business plan that focuses on improving immunization rates with assigned customers in accordance with Our Company's policies, standards, and ethics.
+ Maintaining product knowledge and certification on the entire Company vaccine portfolio along with knowledge of the CDC immunization schedule for both pediatric and adult vaccines.
**Specifically:**
+ Within select customer accounts, acts as primary point of contact for the customer, meet with key customers/personnel to maintain understanding of their current practice structure, business model, and key influencers (Managed Care Organization/payers, employers, state policy), and their patients' needs. Identifies business opportunities and makes information available to relevant stakeholders to support the identified immunization needs.
+ For select customer accounts, coordinate with our Company's customer team (Account Executives, Integrated Delivery System team, Solutions support teams, etc.) to outline customer strategy for interactions/relationships aimed at improving immunization rates.
**Position Qualifications:**
**Education:**
+ Bachelor's Degree with 0-3 years Sales experience **OR** a minimum of high school diploma with at least 4 years of relevant work experience which could include: professional sales, experience in marketing, military, or healthcare/scientific field (pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical devices).

Job Description
This role is field-based, and candidates should live within a reasonable distance from the primary city.
Specialty area: Gastroenterology
Responsible for the management, coordination and execution of various account based sales strategies in targeted accounts to include; Pancreatic Centers of Excellence, Oncology Centers, IDNs, hospitals, CF Centers, specialty pharmacies, and group practices. Implement and optimize all account level initiatives and pull through strategies when applicable.

ACCOUNTABILITY / SCOPE:
+ Primary responsibility to drive incremental sales volume and market share for CREON and Linzess in targeted accounts while enhancing the image of AbbVie as a healthcare industry leader in the exocrine pancreatic insufficiency market. The Digestive Account Executive (DAE) will provide business plans and regular opportunity assessments to leadership and field selling teams regarding targeted accounts to include but not limited to business opportunities, performance metrics, and upcoming initiatives. The DAE will adhere to all corporate and divisional compliance polices and guidelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Develop product strategies to fully and consistently penetrate identified accounts.
+ Provide strategic and tactical direction regarding target accounts to district teams. Conduct regular interaction with district managers, and representatives to provide

Qualifications

+ Knowledge of pharmaceutical market, including trends and issues; GI experience preferred.
+ Thorough understanding of account management and the role of an account executive as well as strong sales and customer partnership skills/success.
+ High degree of strategic, analytic and technical expertise also necessary.
+ Ability to operate in a matrix organization and communicate/coordinate closely with all members of the AbbVie selling team.

Field Svc Rep PURPOSE The primary purpose of the position is to provide direct on-site emergency service, preventive maintenance and installation support to end user customers while ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction. The Account Specialist role promotes a product to community practices and health systems. Customer accounts may include community/private practices, community-based hospitals, academic medical centers, and government accounts (military treatment facilities and/or Veteran's Affairs Medical Centers). Responsibilities

Provide education and clinical/injection training for residents, fellows, and other key hospital personnel.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required.
Relevant and equivalent industry experience required in lieu of a bachelor's degree is at least five (5) years of technical experience with three (3) or more years of experience within sales preferred and a high school diploma/GED required
Experience with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy products is preferred, in both health systems and private practice
Ability to lift/pull 25-100 lb. training models and meet necessary hospital credentialing/vaccination requirements
Valid driver's license: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements

**Regional Account Manager**
**What you will do**

In this vital role, the Regional Account Manager (RAM) is responsible for representing Amgen products to top tier physicians, healthcare professionals and affiliated Institutional systems, establishing product sales, and performing total strategic account management. Field Svc Rep PURPOSE The primary purpose of the position is to provide direct on-site emergency service, preventive maintenance and installation support to end user customers while ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction. The position is also responsible for assisting in reaching Service Zone Revenue targets with work group sales responsibilities ranging from 1 to 2 MM dollars and to communicate product sales opportunities to Sales and Applications team's members as needed. Willingness to acquire and use sales skills is a must. Difficulties include extensive travel (50,000 to 75,000 driving miles per year), working with contaminated products, exposure to X-rays and Magnetic fields, sick patients and the need to lift heavy equipment (over 50lbs). Typical work week approaches 50 hrs and on-call duty as needed by Zone Service manager.
The span of coverage will be Colorado, Southern Wyoming, Southwest Nebraska and Northwest Kansas. Travel will be up to 75% within the territory. The candidate must live within the territory and preferably in the Fort Collins, Boulder or Denver metro area as that is the most central part of the territory.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations at end user customer sites using approved Bayer documentation;
* Schedule and organize own work activities, ensure efficient operations;
* Organize and re-order inventory valued at $20K to ensure quality work and low incident of defective or incomplete on-site customer visits;
* Responsible for proper return of all defective inventory for replenishment;
* Price service calls, offering discounts or converting to full contracts when needed;
* Generate service revenue of up to $500K in given work group (Individual revenue responsibilities may vary);
* Prepare and develop sales quotes and follows through to close the sale. Call end-user customers, purchasing agents and Bayer dealers to finalize and ask for the order;
* Interfaces heavily with Service Admin/MSRC billing processors to ensure proper & timely invoicing. Responsible to assist in collection activities within a given territory;
* In some cases, generates customer interest and communicates to Service Marketing Rep;
* Generates and communicates sales leads to respective sales rep for new product or disposable opportunities;
* Maintain company car, oil changes, tire rotation, etc. and tools in good working order valued at $35-$45K;
* Ensure all proprietary info is safe guarded from non-Bayer personnel, includes: Service & Training Manuals, Diagnostic and Calibration software, BIT keys, ect.
