The Intermediate Mechanical Assembler will perform a variety of tasks relating to production operations on electronics and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. Job Responsibilities: Install, assemble and inspect electronic components per documented work instructions. Interpret job routers, written instructions, wiring diagrams and schematic drawings for assembly of electronics. Demonstrate professionalism, leadership and initiatives on a daily basis. Perform various mechanical operations under a microscope up to 50% of the time. Perform pass downs with outgoing/incoming shifts. Disassemble and re-assemble, modify, rework assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Must have meticulous hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Experience with mechanical assembly. Ability to read assembly drawings/procedures. Experience building under a microscope. Hands-on experience with torque values and other mechanical rework Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic discharge) procedures. Must be detail oriented and able to multitask. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written. Must be able to work a flexible schedule in order to meet production and customer needs. Minimum 3 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
