Our mission in the ICU is to provide healing, comfort and support to our patients and their families in times of critical need. This support is provided through two specialized ICUs: our 43 bed Pediatric ICU (PICU) and 24 bed Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU). Our nursing staff can cross-train for both units. Our CICU sees approximately 1,000 admissions annually, with over 400 of those children receiving complex congenital heart surgery.Our nurses are innovators and leaders who are helping improve care and are changing how pediatric nursing is practiced here and around the world.
