Responsibilities
The Oncology and Hematology Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of a dynamic healthcare practice. This role requires a highly motivated and experienced professional with strong financial skills and a strong work ethic. The Practice Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the multispecialty clinic, demonstrating exceptional leadership abilities, business management expertise, and a range of skills that are not easily taught. This position requires a commitment to optimizing the clinic's financial performance while maintaining the commitment to excellent patient care. The position also interacts closely with other senior management team members to drive the success of corporate initiatives, practice development and key organizational goals.
* Oversees and maintains the day-to-day operations of busy medical practice in a manner consistent with practice goals, policies and procedures.
* Serves as liaison between staff, providers, patients and others, accurately communicates information between all parties.
* Greets, screens, interviews and assists patients and visitors to the practice according to office guidelines.
* Consistently and accurately documents and communicates appropriate medical information to patients, physicians/providers, staff members and ancillary care providers in an understandable manner.
* Oversees and supports staff who are required to answer multiple, busy phone lines by the third ring, assist callers and take messages and/or delegate calls as appropriate.
* Oversees and supports staff who use computer system for scheduling, patient registration, charge and payment entry inquiries, inter-departmental communication and document preparation and prints encounter forms, lab slips, patient receipts and other information as needed.
* Oversees and supports staff who accurately schedule appointments for physician according to practice requirements and needs and confirms appointments.
* Review patient demographic information for completeness and accuracy, makes follow-up inquiries as appropriate, determines patient co-payment, reminds patients of unpaid balances and updates computer master record.
* Oversees and supports staff who collect patient co-payment, unpaid balances and other self-pay amounts, properly maintain daily patient sign-in logs, charge and payment logs and accurately and efficiently comply with practice protocols to insure the capture of all billable revenue on a daily basis.
* Maintains a current working knowledge of HMOs, managed care plans, and other third party payor regulations in the management of patients of the practice.
* Oversees the effective and efficient administration of a quality referral system.
* Oversees and supports staff who are required to file and pull medical records, and accurately maintain medical records in a neat, organized manner as defined by practice guidelines.
* Follows day end closing procedures, assures cash collected is kept safely stored until deposited, and accurately maintains batch control records.
* Applies principles of growth and development when providing individualized care to Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric patients and families.
* Prepares and oversees budget

Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Master's in Business Administration preferred
* 2-5 years of practice management required
* 3-5 years medical office experience preferred
* Oncology experience preferred
* Proven experience in practice management, preferably in a multispecialty setting
* Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and revenue cycle management
* Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
* Exceptional organizational and time management abilities

Mercy Medical Center is seeking a full-time radiologist fellowship trained in body imaging. Must have experience in liver/cirrhosis imaging, able/willing to read PET/CT scans. Need expertise in musculoskeletal MRI, US imaging and arthrography. Cardiac imaging a plus, but not required.
No mammography. No specialized neuroradiology imaging except STAT cases on call.
The group covers a busy hospital and 3 outpatient centers, reading cases from 3, 1.5T magnets, 4 CT scanners (1, 640 slice), 1 PET CT unit. Plans to obtain 3T MRI in the fall.
Responsibilities
On-call coverage is required. A nighthawk service is used for overnight coverage.

Clinical Psychologist - Behavioral Health (Primary Focus on Digestive Health, Obesity and Liver Diseases)
The Clinical Psychologist will serve as a resource for patients, families, and professionals on psychological issues related to gastrointestinal, pancreatic, or liver diseases, including liver transplantation and obesity related metabolic diseases.
The Clinical Psychologist will assess the patient, provide recommendations, set goals, instruct the patient/family with a plan, and evaluate the success of interventions. The individual will develop individualized and tailored treatment plans for each patient referred.
* Provides outpatient counseling to individuals with various GI, liver, pancreatic, nutritional and metabolic conditions
* Responsible for formulating and updating treatment plans
* Documents all interactions, coordinates care, and communicates pertinent information to other team members in a timely manner
* Works with multidisciplinary team members, including gastroenterologists and bariatric surgeons, liver transplant team and dietician and provides evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, case management & psychotherapeutic interventions
* Participate in professional training activities to maintain and advance knowledge base
Requirements
Education
* Licensed behavioral health professional (clinical psychologist or neuropsychologist preferred) in the state of Maryland
* PhD/PsyD in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited doctoral program
* Counseling experience: at least three years (flexible)
* GI experience preferred, but not mandatory. If there is no GI experience, should be willing to undergo short training that will be supported by the GI physicians

Responsibilities
Mercy Medical Center is offering an externship program for qualified nursing students beginning in June 2026. This program will allow the student to reinforce their learning experience in school with patient care and organizational skills under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. The extern program will start on June 9th, 2026 and end on July 31st, 2026. You must be eligible to attend the full 8 weeks and available to work full time throughout the entire program.
The Student Nurse Extern participates as a member of the nursing team in the delivery of quality patient care. Under the supervision of the registered nurse, the extern performs selected delegated patient care procedures, observes patient condition and reports and records information and assists the health care team with specific treatments and/or procedures in an acute or intermediate care setting.
Requirements
To be eligible for the extern program, you must be graduating from your nursing program between December 2026 and August 2027.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities
The Staff Physical Therapist provides specific physical therapy services aimed at evaluating the patients' current state, determining their potential for improvement and assisting the patient in regaining an optimal level of
ability in gross motor skills, muscular strength and function, mobility, the reduction of pain, and the improvement in the loss of
skin/tissue integrity. The Staff Physical therapist provides individualized care based upon needs of the patient and family.
Requirements
License Requirements:
● Meet all requirements of The Maryland State Board of PT Examiners, and licensed by this regulatory agency with a PT license.
Certification Requirements:
● Level C CPR certification for health care providers.
Age Specific Care Provided For:
● Adolescents

● Geriatrics
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
● Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize one or more of the following:
⚬ Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel
⚬ Microsoft Outlook
⚬ Epic
⚬ Performance Manager/NetLearning
● Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.
Must be able to work independently and possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
such action.
● Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians,
customers, and the general public.
● Must be flexible, have personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as a team with other employees.
● Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
Other Requirements:
● Understanding of orthopedic impairments and treatments, gait/transfer training, therapeutic exercise, soft tissue treatments, electro-therapeutic
modalities, wound care, orthotic and prosthetic training and checks. Knowledge of treatment of vertigo or willingness to learn are preferred
● Must have clear understanding of medical/rehabilitation language and abbreviations

Responsibilities
The Multispecialty Physician Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of a dynamic healthcare practice. This role requires a highly motivated and experienced professional with strong financial skills and a strong work ethic. The Practice Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the multispecialty clinic, demonstrating exceptional leadership abilities, business management expertise, and a range of skills that are not easily taught. This position requires a commitment to optimizing the clinic's financial performance while maintaining the commitment to excellent patient care. The position also interacts closely with other senior management team members to drive the success of corporate initiatives, practice development and key organizational goals.
* Oversee day-to-day operations of the multispecialty clinic, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to quality standards
* Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance patient care, optimize resources, and meet regulatory requirements
* Manage and coordinate staffing needs, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and scheduling
* Monitor and evaluate clinic performance, implementing strategies to enhance productivity, patient satisfaction, and financial outcomes
* Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to align practice goals and drive clinical excellence
* Develop and manage the clinic's annual budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility and maximizing revenue generation
* Monitor financial performance, analyzing key metrics and implementing strategies to improve financial efficiency
* Implement cost-saving measures while maintaining high-quality patient care and operational efficiency
* Exhibit critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address complex operational and strategic challenges
* Prioritize and manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Master's in Business Administration preferred
* 2-5 years of practice management required
* 3-5 years medical office experience preferred
* EPIC experience preferred
* Proven experience in practice management, preferably in a multispecialty setting
* Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and revenue cycle management
* Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
* Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
* Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and results-oriented
* Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and new challenges

Responsibilities
The Student Nurse Tech participates as a member of the nursing team in the delivery of quality patient care. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, the Student Nurse Tech performs selected delegated patient care procedures. Observes patient condition and reports and records information. * High School Diploma or GED
* One semester of Nursing Fundamentals and one semester of Nursing Clinical for a total of 2 Clinical Semesters.
