Responsibilities The Multispecialty Physician Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of a dynamic healthcare practice. This role requires a highly motivated and experienced professional with strong financial skills and a strong work ethic. The Practice Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the multispecialty clinic, demonstrating exceptional leadership abilities, business management expertise, and a range of skills that are not easily taught. This position requires a commitment to optimizing the clinic's financial performance while maintaining the commitment to excellent patient care. On call is typically every 10th weekend and includes Saturday 7-11a for inpatients. The Echocardiographer performs all Echocardiogram and Dopplers which result in successful reading. Assists with all other departmental testing as needed, following departmental protocols. The staff member demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development for all age groups with special emphasis on middle and senior adults. The staff member must evidence the ability to apply these principles when selecting equipment, performing tests, and interacting with clients and their families. Requirements * Must possess a high school diploma or GED * Must possess at least 1 year of experience in cardiology testing. * Must have completed echo courses in M-Mode and 2-D and Doppler Echocardiography. * Certification Requirements: * Must be CPR trained- Healthcare Provider level. * ARDMS OR CCI certification required * Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Must have Epic experience * Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public. * Must be flexible, have personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as a team with other employees. * Other Requirements: * Must possess typing skills. * Must be able to perform EKGs, Treadmill preparation, Echocardiograms, and Dopplers. * Pediatric echo screening scans * Will be required to travel. Responsibilities The Forensic Nurse Examiner provides forensic physical assessment and evidence collection to patients who are victimized by sexual assault, aged 13 and older, and interpersonal violence for all ages. This includes injury and photo documentation, crisis intervention and prophylactic medications with referrals as appropriate. The F.N.E. is expected to provide fact testimony for judicial proceedings. The F.N.E. must meet annual criteria to maintain certification (200 hours, 3 exams, 8 hours continuing education), as well as annual OSHA, PPD and Mercy mandatory requirements.
