Frierott, 46, joins Meredith following 21 years at GE, including more than 10 years as a Chief Financial Officer for several of GE's large business units. This included stints as a senior financial executive at GE Transportation, GE Power & Water and GE Energy. He also spent eight years in an executive role on GE's Corporate Audit staff.

In his new role at Meredith, Frierott will lead all financial activities of the enterprise, including accounting, financial planning, treasury, investor relations, internal audit and information technology. Frierott will play key roles in strategic planning, business operations, mergers and acquisitions, and debt-reduction strategies. He will report to Harty.

Prior to joining Meredith in January 2021, Jensen served as Head of Executive Communications for Principal Financial Group. She has a master’s degree in communication leadership from Drake University and a bachelor of science degree in marketing from Iowa State University.

A native Iowan, Jensen has always felt a strong connection to Meredith’s powerful brands. Her family farm has always had copies of Successful Farming on hand, and she has been a PEOPLE fan since childhood.

Jensen is active in the Central Iowa community, serving on the Greater Des Moines Partnership’s communication board and as a teaching assistant at Iowa State’s Marketing 495X case competitions. She also serves on the American Council of Life Insurers PR/Communications Council.
