MERGE is hiring a Senior Director of Paid Social to lead strategy for one of our largest enterprise B2B clients. This is a high-impact, client-embedded role based in New York City or San Francisco. You will work on site with the client's internal marketing and growth teams while remaining part of MERGE's Integrated Outcomes organization. This role is built for a senior paid social leader who can operate independently, shape channel strategy at scale, and confidently advise executive stakeholders. While the primary focus is strategic leadership, there will be times when you step in hands-on to ensure campaigns are executed at the highest standard. What You Will Do * Own paid social strategy for a complex, enterprise B2B organization across three distinct business units, ensuring clarity, alignment, and measurable impact. * Serve as the senior paid social advisor to internal client stakeholders and leadership-guiding channel direction, audience approach, budget allocation, and success metrics. * Develop and operationalize vertical-specific strategies that balance business objectives, funnel priorities, and performance outcomes. * Translate goals into full-funnel paid social frameworks, including: audience segmentation and targeting, platform strategy and channel role definition, creative and messaging test plans, measurement and optimization approach * Establish and evolve best practices across governance, pacing, QA, naming conventions, campaign architecture, and performance reporting. * Drive proactive thought leadership and innovation, identifying new opportunities across platforms, ad formats, targeting capabilities, measurement solutions, and automation. * Partner with MERGE analytics/decision science resources to implement experimentation plans, incrementality thinking, and audience optimization. * Provide strategic oversight and direction to executional resources (hands-on-keyboard), ensuring campaigns are launched accurately and optimized intentionally. * Step in to troubleshoot or activate when needed to maintain quality, momentum, and stakeholder confidence.     Job Description:About the Role Under general supervision, the Member Engagement Manager is responsible for managing all onboarding, ongoing engagement and renewal aspects of the relationship with all CCO Council members. To this end the Member Engagement Manager will need to liaise closely with both sales and the CCO Council Chair to ensure the members value derived from their membership of CCO Council is high enough to ensure continued participation in the Council. Ultimately the Member Engagement Manager must develop and drive deep and symbiotic relationships with high level executives and ensure continued strong renewal rates across members, ensuring a strong revenue base for Dow Jones CCO Council and WSJLI.
