Medical Assistant Key Responsibilities: Taking vitals and weight Giving injections Assist providers Pass medications Answering phone calls greeting clients updating patient information filling out insurance paperwork and prior approvals, helping the provider to complete arrangements for referrals, admissions and laboratory referrals.
