Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Department is currently seeking a motivated and reliable individual to support daily waterpark and main park operations, regarding water quality; ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for all guests and employees. Additionally, this person will support the Landscape Team in enhancing and maintaining park grounds and gardens in an appealing and healthy state, while promoting a safe working environment, eliminating hazards and meeting our guest service standards.
HOW YOU WILL DO IT:
* Assures the water chemistry in all areas of the waterpark is tested, recorded and adjusted (if necessary) on an hourly basis during periods of operation.
* Backwashes all filters when required and maintains the proper level of water in all pools.
* Closes or shuts down any features for safety and/or emergency situations.
* Maintains a clean and safe environment in and around the water activity areas which includes: Pre-Opening Safety Checks performed on pools, water features and slides on operating days, pre-opening cleaning of pools and surrounding areas on a pre-determined schedule, end of the day cleanup in all areas of the waterpark, maintaining cleanliness of walkways, pool decks and landscape areas, management of bio-spills.
* Ride start-up and shut down dependent upon work schedule.
* Repair/maintenance of all rides and features during operating as well as non-operating seasons.
* Adheres to guest-first standards at all times.
* Coordinates daily schedules and activities of Seasonal Water Quality Techs
* Assists in safety and SOP training of Seasonal Water Quality Techs
* Administrative duties such as time and attendance and seasonal labor management.
* Assures safety and equipment inspections are performed on a daily basis.
* Assists other Departments and Divisions in daily operations of the Water Park.
* Maintaining water features and fountains in the Main Park.
* Installation and maintenance of landscapes in both Fiesta Texas and Whitewater Bay including but not limited to lawns, trees, plants, and pavers.
* Work directly with crew(s) on assigned tasks on daily basis
* Provide technical leadership in the trade area and ensure that generally accepted trade practices are adhered to in all applications.
* Upkeep and maintenance of Landscape equipment and vehicles
* Application of herbicides and insecticides
* Perform general landscape duties planting, pruning, mowing,
* Knowledge of plant material for seasonal color
* All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license required, or must acquire within six months - Company Funded
* Water quality and / or previous supervisory skills a plus
* Must possess a valid Driver's License and be at least 18 years of age
* Must have knowledge of installation and maintenance of irrigation system
* A strong sense of teamwork and a positive attitude.

The Activities Director is responsible for directing the development, implementation, supervision and ongoing evaluation of the activities program designed to meet the social, psychosocial and therapeutic needs of the resident. Directing the activity program includes scheduling of activities, both individual and groups, implementing and/or delegating the implementation of recreational, educational, cultural and arts and crafts programs, monitoring the response, reviewing and evaluating the response to the programs to determine if the activities meet the assessed needs of the resident, and making revisions as necessary. The Director ensures that scheduled program activities are carried out seven days per week. The Director will ensure each resident is offered at least one (1) cognitive activity, two (2) recreational activities and three (3) ADL activities daily. Activities are to be tailored to the resident's unique requirements and skills. At least one individual activity is planned for residents who are unable or unwilling to participate in group activities daily. Oversees the transportation of residents to social activities programs inside and outside the facility.
The Activities Director is responsible for the assurance of resident safety during activities and items that are safety hazards are strictly controlled. Harmful items will be monitored closely during resident use and put away immediately after each use. Activity cabinets and closets are locked at all times when not in immediate use.
The Activities Director is responsible for overseeing the establishment of a Resident Council and responsible for its smooth operation and documentation such as meeting minutes and concerns expressed during the Council meetings.
The Activities Director is required to perform a variety of administrative functions pertaining to departmental operations, such as but not limited to, assisting with the orientation of newly hired staff; development of departmental policies and procedures; delegation of work assignments of staff; completion of employee performance evaluations and the development of formal and informal staff educational in-service programs to ensure the highest level of quality care possible is provided to residents.
The Director also oversees the facility's volunteer program to include monitoring the activities of volunteer staff members to ensure that the rights of residents are respected. Occasionally supervise student practices in Leisure Studies and related educational areas.
The Activities Director monitors the schedule and services provided by the Beauty Shop Operators.

The Gateway Technician is a technical operations role that reports to the Regional Manager and is responsible for on-site facility management activities.

* Operate and maintain all aspects of the Globalstar satellite earth station.
* Maintain and monitor facility elements including power systems, HVAC, fire suppression.
