Summary: The Area Sales Representative is responsible for driving significant new revenue growth by identifying, developing, and securing large commercial accounts within assigned territories. This outside sales role focuses on strategic prospecting, relationship building, and solution-based selling to position Meridian Waste as the preferred environmental services partner in the region. Key Responsibilities: Proactively identify and pursue high-value prospects and major account opportunities. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed revenue targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders. Deliver professional presentations and proposals tailored to each customer's needs. Collaborate with operations and leadership to ensure seamless onboarding and long-term customer satisfaction. Maintain a robust pipeline through diligent CRM management and activity tracking.

Collaborate with sales and construction managers to create equipment/material lists, estimate labor hours, determine job requirements (drug testing, orientations), and calculate freight.
Prepare formal quotes for customer submission.
Evaluate each bid for upsell opportunities across access product portfolio (QuikDeck, HAKI, mast climbers, elevators, shoring, loading docks, sidewalk protection, trash chutes, etc.).
Project Coordination & Administration
Support construction crews at job start-up to ensure seamless execution.
Work with the branch contracts manager to process new contracts through internal workflows.
Partner with project controls to ensure accurate, timely billing and capture change orders promptly.
Qualifications
Required:
Experience in scaffold/access system sales, especially projects involving labor and installation.
Proven background in cost estimating scaffold or work-access projects.
Hands-on experience using Salesforce in a construction-focused environment.
Prior construction industry experience.
Intermediate or better proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Direct field experience as a scaffold builder or foreman.
Background in engineering, drafting, or construction estimating.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Marketing, Sales, or related fields.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Support the Sales Manager and General Manager implementing marketing and sales plans/strategies. Respond to all Broker and RFP requests within assigned market as requested. Develop and maintain positive community relations/image through involvement in civic and trade organizations, business groups, and other key contacts. Responsible for all new customer prospects and retention of existing customers within the assigned market. Report and submit monthly sales results. Daily cold call, phone blocking, and territory management utilized within the sales process. Research, prepare, assemble and deliver proposals for new prospective customers and existing customers within the assigned market. Support and respond to all customer retention activities or concerns. Follow and comply with all safety policies. Additional duties as assigned.

This opportunity specializes in the sales of propane products for commercial and residential uses. With more than 80 retail locations in 11 states, Blossman Gas is America's largest independent propane company.
Our select group of Outside Sales representatives focus on promoting and closing the sales of propane to prospective commercial and residential customers. This will include championing Blossman's core lines of water heaters, gas range/ovens, laundry equipment, hearth products, stand-by generators, outdoor products/grills, and more. Regular collaboration with established businesses, reputable builders, and sub-contractors are essential parts of the job, as well as producing regular sales reports and communicating regularly with the local store and the national sales manager. To be successful, our Outside Sales team is regularly prospecting for new business (commercial and residential) on a daily basis.
