What You'll Do as a Material Handler I Safely and accurately process Customer products according to established procedures within FDA, ISO, and GMP guidelines. Utilize handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to transfer Customer product through the sterilization process. Load and unload Customer product manually or using automated equipment into the validated sterilization process. Place and retrieve monitoring devices on product to ensure proper sterilization levels. Comply with all health and safety requirements to work within facilities that utilize various industrial sterilization modalities; complete training and annual certification to use personal protective equipment (e.g., safety glasses, safety shoes, respiratory protection equipment (SCBA)). Ensure safety and quality in all aspects of the job. Education Degree High School Diploma or GED The Experience, Skills, and Abilities Needed Required: High School Diploma or G.E.D. Minimum of two (2) years warehousing / manufacturing experience. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Essential to be clean shaven for safety equipment. Job Description After 36 years with our organization, our Payroll/Receivables Specialist is retiring. We are searching for a replacement that can spend time being trained by her before she rides off into the sunset. If you are a person with payroll experience along with some accounts receivable experience, we invite you to apply. We frequently bring our dogs into our office; if this appeals to you, please read on: Responsibilities: · Process biweekly payroll using ADP Workforce Now for 225 hourly and salaried employees. · Upload employee retirement plan contributions into vendor system after each payroll. · Maintain confidential payroll files. · Receive and scan deposit contributions daily. Present reports and scanned checks to the Development (Fundraising) Department. · Analyze and post all receivables, including rescue and investigation unit restitution, ranch, education programs and various other payments. · Pick up daily activity from adoption center drop safe and medical center drop safe, and store in Finance department safe until processed. · Balance and post Adoption Center daily activity. · Balance, import to Solomon and deposit daily transactions from gift shops in our three locations. · Coordinate petty cash box, including balancing regularly and reordering cash as needed. Distribute petty cash to employees as requested. · Maintain department permanent files. · Be a part of the team that fills in for our Purchasing/Warehouse Specialist when he is out of the office. · Assist in the preparation of year end audit schedules. · Prepare annual 1099 forms. Qualifications: · A minimum of two years of experience processing payroll, ADP experience is preferred. · Some accounts payable or receivable experience · Detail orientation. · The ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with other coworkers/departments. · Must love dogs!
