WORK SHIFT EVE (United States of America) SUMMARY OF DUTIES Responsible for pulling parts and supplies from the warehouse which are needed for production. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED 1. Obtains parts from the warehouse for use in production and verifies the part's lot number to ensure that the proper materials are used. 2. Pulls supplies for assembly workers and ensures that supplies are stocked and readily available for assembly workers. 3. Prints inventory labels and puts the parts in production bins for easy handling by the production workers. 4. Visually checks to ensure that production workers have the products they need. 5. Records the amounts of pulled products. 6. Maintains cleanliness of assigned machines and areas. 7. Performs other related tasks, as required. What You'll Do as a Material Handler I Safely and accurately process Customer products according to established procedures within FDA, ISO, and GMP guidelines. Utilize handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to transfer Customer product through the sterilization process. Load and unload Customer product manually or using automated equipment into the validated sterilization process. Place and retrieve monitoring devices on product to ensure proper sterilization levels. Comply with all health and safety requirements to work within facilities that utilize various industrial sterilization modalities; complete training and annual certification to use personal protective equipment (e.g., safety glasses, safety shoes, respiratory protection equipment (SCBA)). Ensure safety and quality in all aspects of the job. Education Degree High School Diploma or GED The Experience, Skills, and Abilities Needed Required: High School Diploma or G.E.D. Minimum of two (2) years warehousing / manufacturing experience. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Essential to be clean shaven for safety equipment. Primary Duties: The driver must abide by all State and Federal laws associated with operating a company vehicle, including but not limited to knowledge of federal motor carrier safety regulations and Utah Administrative rules for motor carriers. Follow all general OSHA Safety Guidelines for warehouses. Drive a designated route as assigned by leadership. Physically and electronically move finished goods and raw material with warehouse equipment to designated locations. Monitor vehicle maintenance including pre-trip inspection. Check deliveries to make sure all ordered material meets quality standards. Receive, quantify, and store incoming material with warehouse equipment from various delivery sources. Document data from logistics KPOs. Perform related transactions, bin maintenance, and maintain shelving for the stocking of material. Perform real time daily replenishment of material in a “Just in Time” manner to support internal customers. Process all deliveries to ensure material transactions occur for all departmental activities. Perform high level of accuracy with logging, labeling, tracking, transporting, and entering material lot information into Warehouse Management software. Aid in the identification and movement of non-conforming material. Perform other duties as assigned. Ensure continuous compliance with applicable training including but not limited to Work Instruction Documents. Demonstrate high level awareness of safety protocol within work environment. Training/Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent A valid Utah Driver's License is required. This is an entry-level role. No previous experience is required, however, inventory, warehouse, shipping, receiving, and straight truck driving experience is preferred. Materials handling experience within the medical device industry, including working with the FDA regarding control of materials for instruments and chemistry, preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: High level of accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in all job duties. Demonstrates an understanding of all warehouse functions. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and internal software. Excellent communication skills. Physical Requirements: Must be able to work in warehouse conditions with long periods of standing, climbing, bending, walking, and reaching in wide temperature ranges and inclement weather. High level of repetitive motion. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to operate material handling equipment. Overtime may be required.
