    Position Description Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Parish Support Services (Business Manager) and the Pastor, with a dotted line reporting to the school Principal, the building maintenance technician is responsible for the effective, efficient, and safe maintenance, renovation and upkeep of the parish buildings (including school, church, convent and rectory), property, and equipment. The building maintenance technician is expected to have a solid understanding of plumbing and electrical systems as well as carpentry and other crafts. This is a full time (40 hours per week), non-exempt, twelve-month position. Normal shift hours are from 6:30 am until 3:00 pm Monday thru Friday. Some occasional weekend work may be required for general maintenance needs and in response to emergency situations as needed.
