Responsibilities
· Inspect equipment. Make necessary adjustments, document test readings and repairs.
· Managing routine and preventative maintenance based on production requirements to minimize production disruptions, equipment failure, downtime, and corrects any unsafe conditions.
· Repair or replace essential equipment - both electrical and mechanical.
· Read and understand prints, schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals to determine methods and sequence for repairing machinery and equipment.
· Perform inspection and preventative maintenance on production equipment utilizing PM programs and inspection checklists. Maintain preventative maintenance logs and equipment manuals.
· Align, fit, repair and assemble electrical/mechanical component parts using meters, gauges, power tools, hand tools, lifting devices and drawings.
· Respond to Facility Service Requests.
· Ensure proper working condition of equipment in Machine Shop & Plant, including CNC Machines, Welding Equipment, Air Lines & Hoses.
· Review project instructions and equipment specifications to identify and plan necessary repairs.
· Fabricate and/or modify new or used parts to make repairs according to established safety procedures.
· Investigate equipment failures and malfunctions. Communicate production team members, or technical experts to resolve intermittent malfunction or failure of equipment or systems.
· Complete tasks as required to minimize production equipment downtime.
· Ensure proper installation of new equipment. Document all testing of equipment and electronic systems.
· Strick adherence to lock out/tag out procedures.

The Maintenance Technician performs preventive maintenance and makes repairs on equipment in the plant to ensure uninterrupted production. Keeps assigned areas equipped with parts in an orderly condition.
What you will be doing:
Repairing assembly equipment.
Completing preventative maintenance.
Responding to work requests regarding repairs around the facility.
Creates special tools to assist with production.
Rebuilds machines, tools and heavy equipment.
Troubleshoots equipment to determine repairs needed.
Education and Experience Needed:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required.
1-3 years of maintenance experience preferred.
Basic electrical knowledge preferred.
Basic fluid power experience (pneumatic and hydraulic) is a plus.
Proficient using hand and power tools.
Basic welding experience preferred.
Basic computer and math skills.

Job Purpose
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance on lab test equipment. This position directly contributes to lab metrics of equipment utilization/uptime requirements, safety and budget initiatives.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
* Troubleshooting and repair of all Test Lab equipment.
* Perform daily Preventive Maintenance work on all equipment including, but not limited to Dynamometers, Hydraulic pumps/ linear and rotary actuators, misc. testing equipment, manufacturing and assembly equipment, Materials testing equipment and other test and manufacturing departments.
* Basic troubleshooting and repair of all Test Lab electrical systems.
* PLC Ladder Logic Experience Preferred
* Experience with 480V and low voltage systems and troubleshooting
* Assist in the Development and maintaining of a preventive, predictive and corrective Maintenance system
* Assist in Special Projects, coordination of inventory, and building test systems
* Utilize preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance tools and techniques such as vibrations and oil analysis, thermographic imaging, ultrasonic and electrical diagnostics for accessing the condition of the equipment and developing maintenance schedule to prevent catastrophic failures.
* Participate in annual Calibration / PM system audits.
* Assist and perform calibration activities.
* Maintain PM procedures, work instruction and checklists to ensure proper timing and methods are followed based on equipment type and manufacturer requirements.
* Assist with scheduling the preventive, predictive, corrective and calibration activities
* Maintain required technical documentation for the position.
* Responsible for cost savings initiatives for PM and calibration.
* Provide off-shift support when needed.
Qualifications
* High school dipolma
* 3+ year's experience in electrical troubleshooting experience
* Experience troubleshooting / repair of testing equipment.
* Dynamometer troubleshooting and repair experience preferred.
* 3 year's Experience troubleshooting and repair of Hydraulic systems and servo controlled actuators
* Experience in Preventive, Predictive and Corrective Maintenance and use of calibration equipment, and tooling
* Self-directed, motivated, and organized individual who is willing to accept responsibility and complete tasks on time.
* Basic computer skills and understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
* Willingness to work overtime or off-shifts as requested.
* Must be team oriented.

Responsibilities
Inspect, maintain and repair equipment
Perform and follow through on regular, preventative and predictive maintenance of equipment

Qualifications
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and/or six or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures, in addition to performing grounds maintenance. All work will be done in compliance with EPA, Hazmat and OSHA safety rules and regulations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
* Troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment with minimal supervision using safe techniques and schematics. Perform electrical tasks and incidental work as needed to achieve assigned task.
* Perform electronic component replacement per familiarity and/or training. Verify equipment as functional and leave the area clean and safe.
* Operate in response to requests by Maintenance Supervisor or support personnel and set priorities as required to maximize equipment uptime.
* Utilize measurement devices to hold print tolerances and industry standards while performing machine repairs and assembly.
* Participate in preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve operational uptime and equipment life. Recommend improvements and/or changes to PM systems/tasks when applicable.
* Follow designated work instructions as outline for specific functions. These include, but are not limited to; PM work orders, utilizes eMaint CMMS system, continuous improvement tasks, new machine installation set-ups and changeovers, and repair/refurbish assignments.
* Update drawings/prints, order and maintain spare parts and suitable replacements, and perform various forms of machine repair/rebuild in a professional manner per line-up and schematics.
* Maintaining and repairing the building and assets both inside and outside the property.
* Electrical experience and knowledge in 480V 3-phase, 120V, DC voltage, high AMP loads and Delta and Y systems.
* Willing to attend training courses either on or off site.
* Follow standard practices and all governmental regulations and laws relating to powered equipment.
* Must be able to work independently, follow through and complete tasks, and handle a multitask workload.
* Perform other related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and management.
Requirements:

* Technical degree or Journeyman Card (Preferred)
* Good electrical and mechanical skills, as demonstrated through an aptitude test.
* 3+ years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience preferred, preferably in the automotive industry.
* Must have strong background in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic arms, welding, basic fabrication, and overall machine troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits and systems up to 110 volts.
* Familiarity with complex machinery, electrical circuits, and plant operating equipment. Should maintain a sense of urgency, self-motivation and overall good work ethic while performing tasks in a safe manner.
* Knowledge of industrial, mechanical, electrical codes, techniques, and standards. Familiarity with government regulations for industry and safe work practices dealing with machine repair.
* Skills in interpersonal relations both written and oral communications.
Physical Demands:
* A physically demanding position requiring lifting and carrying up to 60lbs. The ability to stand continuously is essential with occasional walking and sitting. The nature of this position will require employee to perform a wide range of physical activities ranging from pushing and pulling objects up to 30lbs, reaching, bending, and squatting.

-The machine must produce parts at high levels of quality and efficiency.
-Must keep the machine at optimal operation capacity by communicating to team Leader/supervisor any issues and to ensure product quality and record on time is interventions.
-Must assure product quality requirements are met to assure function and cosmetic attributes expected by customers through process adjustments on plastic injection molding machinery. Records appropriate intervention reports.
-Performs tooling changes, production changes and tooling maintenance.
-Understand, maintain or repair water system, plastic resin conveying system, hydraulic system, electric and electronic basics, grease and oil definitions and compressed air systems.
-Keep the working environment area clean and safe.
-Being available for overtime and weekend work if needed.
-Any other tasks may be requested by management.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
No direct supervisory responsibilities. Must be able to work in a self-directed team environment.
Educations and/or Experience:
Prior maintenance experience in machining, plastic processing or millwright is required. College degree or equivalent are an asset.
