We are seeking a Solver Development Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and optimization of advanced solvers for physics-based simulation products, including multibody systems (MBS), finite element analysis (FEA), and computational fluid dynamics (CFD). This role combines software engineering with applied mathematics expertise, enabling you to design efficient numerical algorithms and accelerate simulations on modern computing platforms.
This is a hybrid role located in Irvine, CA | Novi, MI | North Kingstown, RI. Remote work may be considered for exceptional candidates.

Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Verification & Validation Application Engineer and focuses on ensuring the feature delivers the expectations of the customer. You will develop and implement feature requirements and specifications (including functional safety) for features like adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, cross traffic alert, pro trailer features, advanced lighting, and 360 camera systems at a system and sub-system level and validate them according to the systems engineering model. What We're Looking For:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field)
• Minimum 3+ years of experience
• Proficiency in CAD software (Solid Edge preferred)
• Familiarity with motors, motor controls, motion systems, and electronics
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
• Project management experience with ability to handle multiple priorities

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and objectives as they relate to JE products, providing technical expertise and solutions to meet those requirements.
* Customize and configure product solutions to meet customer specifications and integrate them into existing systems.
* Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers, addressing questions, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively.
* Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers to ensure they maximize the value of our products.
* Drive innovation and advocate for cutting-edge solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible.
* Work closely with sales and product development teams to communicate customer and market feedback, contributing to product improvement and development.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Familiarity or experience with motors, motor controls, and motion systems.
* Understanding of electronics.

The Project Manager will possess excellent written and oral communication skills in order to lead the project team in project requirement(s) definition.
This individual will demonstrate leadership in his/her understanding and use of the company's Tailored Standard Software Development Methodology in the development of project management documents, including project plans, resource estimates, project schedules, team roster and assignments, issue, risk, and change management documents, as well as progress status reports.
Managing projects will entail working effectively in a distributed team environment while interacting with customers, employees, peers, management, as well as other interfacing groups.
Consistent application of customer and company Best Practices across all projects.
Ensure project team members and interfacing groups have a clear understanding, at all times, of their individual roles, task assignments, commitments and project deliverables.
Track progress against the plan, and monitor status of actual vs. planned accomplishments.
Keep team and management apprised of the overall status of activities, schedules, deliverables, problems and opportunities. * Perform project retrospectives and/or Root Cause Analysis.
