Merrick & Company is seeking an experienced Project Manager for our growing practice in energy, manufacturing and bioprocessing projects, including work in the industrial manufacturing, food and personal care, power, oil and gas, and bioprocessing industries. The business is currently comprised of a wide variety of industrial projects, including heavy retrofit, life extension, and advanced technology development projects in a variety of industrial environments, including manufacturing facilities, food and personal care production facilities, power plants, refineries, as well as advanced technology projects in the bioprocessing space, including biofuels, biochemicals, waste to energy, and renewable natural gas.
Candidate should be experienced at managing some or many of these types of projects in different industries. The position can be located in any one of the six Energy/ Manufacturing/ Bioprocessing Business Unit locations: Greenwood Village (Denver Metro), Colorado; Tulsa, Oklahoma; Chattanooga, Tennessee; Baltimore, Maryland; Richmond, Virginia; or Newport News, Virginia.
Typical annual pay range for this position is $155,000.00 - $200,000.00. Pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills, and experience. Once trained, a hybrid schedule will be supported.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
The project manager is ultimately responsible for project success and the client's satisfaction, with an emphasis on cultivating client relationships and winning future work. **AECOM** is seeking a Structures Design Manager for its East Region Transportation Business Line. The East Region encompasses the Northeast (ME, NH, VT, MA, CT, RI), New York, Mid-Atlantic (PA, NJ, MD, VA, WV) and Southeast (NC, SC, TN, AL, GA, FL) sub-regions.
The ideal candidate will act as a Structures Design Lead for pursuits and projects using alternative delivery methods such as Progressive Design-Build, Design-Build, Construction Manager/General Contractor ("CM/GC"), or methods with early contractor involvement. **Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering or similar field + 10 years of relevant design experience in bridge engineering, design and analysis or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
+ Professional Engineer (PE) license and be willing to obtain reciprocity in the jurisdiction of the projects.
+ Valid US Driver's License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.

**AECOM** is seeking a **Scope Change Coordinator** to be based in our **Baltimore, MD** office to support the **B&P Tunnel Replacement (BPTR) Program** , among other project opportunities available at AECOM.
AECOM is the delivery partner for Amtrak on the BPTR Program that will upgrade a ten-mile section of the Northeast Corridor (NEC), America's busiest passenger rail line. The delivery partner team is responsible for supporting Amtrak with overseeing the full breadth of the program. The scope of services includes program management, design oversight, construction oversight, commissioning oversight, program controls, and commercial and capacity building. The Program will also include delivery of new roadway and railroad bridges, new rail systems and track, and a new ADA-accessible West Baltimore MARC station.
The Scope Change Coordinator will be responsible for reviewing, managing, and controlling the approved project scope baseline to ensure alignment across design, engineering, construction, and stakeholder teams. This role ensures scope changes are properly documented, evaluated, and controlled to protect project objectives related to cost, schedule, and quality. The role requires familiarity with construction or other scope change management, design or construction contracts, and project management.
**The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:**
+ Review, maintain, and control the project Scope Baseline, ensuring alignment with contract documents and approved project objectives
+ Establish and maintain scope management procedures, standards, and governance frameworks
+ Coordinate with engineering, design, construction, and procurement teams to verify scope definition and completeness
+ Manage change requests, scope adjustments, and baseline revisions through formal change control processes

**Job Description**
**AECOM** is seeking a **Graduate Environmental Scientist** for the **Arlington, Virginia** office. This full-time position within our Federal Group will be participating in a team to help execute a variety of Federal investigation/remediation projects with oversight from senior managers and technical experts. The ideal candidate will require a strong focus on health and safety, be detailed orientated, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently, and will be capable of working collaboratively as a member of a high-performance team.
_This position is expected to begin in December/January 2026._
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
+ Utilize basic scientific principles, theories, practices, and existing technologies to develop solutions for technical problems with limited scope.
+ Prepare technical work plans and reports.
+ Interpret and record data, conduct analyses, compare findings to relevant studies and local, state, and federal regulations to ensure compliance.
+ Plan, execute, analyze, and report on environmental measures in natural systems.
+ Apply standard field practices and techniques using basic field equipment to collect samples of soil, soil vapor, groundwater, surface water, sediment; prepare samples for shipping, and complete chain-of-custody or similar paperwork.
+ Apply knowledge of natural sciences (e.g., chemistry, physics, biology, geology, hydrology, and mathematics) to explain observations.
+ Prepare preliminary data and scientific documents.
+ Review analytical data for general indicators of quality for routine analyses based on well-defined guidelines.
+ Coordinate with task and project managers, working with on-site subcontractors and field staff, supporting sampling, data collection, and field documentation.
+ Manage personal workloads, apprising project managers of progress and obstacles and presenting project outputs for final delivery.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements** :
+ Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science.
+ Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required.
+ Valid U.S. Driver's License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices.
+ As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.
+ Ability to operate large pick-up truck or SUV on jobsites.
+ Frequent repetitive bending/stooping to perform duties to conduct groundwater/surface water sampling and soil/sediment sampling.
+ Frequent exposure to variable seasonal outdoor weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, dryness, moisture.
+ Frequent moving and lifting bags of sand, buckets of groundwater, and field equipment up to 25 pounds unassisted and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
+ Position requires wearing personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses, vest, gloves, hard hat, and field boots all day while performing field work.
+ Occasional work in remote work areas.

Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Scope Change Coordinator to be based in our Baltimore, MD office to support the B&P Tunnel Replacement (BPTR) Program, among other project opportunities available at AECOM.
AECOM is the delivery partner for Amtrak on the BPTR Program that will upgrade a ten-mile section of the Northeast Corridor (NEC), America's busiest passenger rail line. The delivery partner team is responsible for supporting Amtrak with overseeing the full breadth of the program. The scope of services includes program management, design oversight, construction oversight, commissioning oversight, program controls, and commercial and capacity building. The Program will also include delivery of new roadway and railroad bridges, new rail systems and track, and a new ADA-accessible West Baltimore MARC station.
The Scope Change Coordinator will be responsible for reviewing, managing, and controlling the approved project scope baseline to ensure alignment across design, engineering, construction, and stakeholder teams. This role ensures scope changes are properly documented, evaluated, and controlled to protect project objectives related to cost, schedule, and quality. The role requires familiarity with construction or other scope change management, design or construction contracts, and project management.
The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
* Review, maintain, and control the project Scope Baseline, ensuring alignment with contract documents and approved project objectives
* Establish and maintain scope management procedures, standards, and governance frameworks
* Coordinate with engineering, design, construction, and procurement teams to verify scope definition and completeness
* Manage change requests, scope adjustments, and baseline revisions through formal change control processes
* Maintain scope logs, change registers, and audit trails
* Coordinate with subject matter experts related to risk assessments related to scope growth and scope creep
* Follow up discussions with SMEs, estimators, and schedulers
* Participate in review meetings and obtain SME inputs within relevant review forms.
* Maintain dashboards, prepare reports, and executive summaries on scope performance
* Facilitate scope review meetings and participate in project control reviews
* Coordinate and support Procurement process for timely issuance of Contract Modifications
* Review project correspondence, and track and report out on status of potential and actual changes.
* Prepare weekly updates on status of scope changes, and other noteworthy communications.
* Interface with the contractor and other stakeholders, as required, to gather additional details.
* Attend technical project working group meetings as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum:
* Bachelor's degree in a related field
* 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management or equivalent.
* Experience in infrastructure design and construction program and contract management
* Proficient and experineced in the scope management, WBS development, and work packaging
* Advanced experience in project change management and baseline control
* Excellent proficiency in communication and stakeholder coordination skills
* Self-directed, detail-oriented with ability to manage complex documentation
* Proficiencent in project controls systems and document management platforms
* Ability to work independently and self-directed with the ability to coordinate with multiple project team members, consultants, and contractors for specific initiatives.
* Experience in abilit to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
* Proficient in working with the Delivery Team, Engineering, and Risk Management to assist in facilitating organizational coordination.
