Merrick & Company is seeking a full time Senior Electrical Engineer for our Energy, Manufacturing & Bioprocessing department to join our team in our Greenwood Village, CO, Richmond, VA, Ellicott City, MD, Chattanooga, TN, or Tulsa, OK offices. This business unit supports several market sectors including but not limited to industrial food & beverage, refining, power, and advanced biofuels markets. This full-Time position will be eligible for a hybrid work schedule and relocation will be considered.
Typical annual pay range for this position is $125,400.00 - $162,300.00. Pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills, and experience.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
* May serve as project lead on a major project and/or several projects opf moderate scope with complex features.
* Develop electrical design documents and drawings.
* Analyze and approve the work of others. Monitor the work performed by the team.
* Conceptual and detailed design of low voltage power distribution, lighting, grounding, motor control systems, PLC/PAC, HMI's process equipment and instrumentation.
* Interact with clients, customers, officials, contractors and others.
* Lead project meetings and make presentations.
* Perform typical electrical calculations including but not limited to voltage drop, short circuit, coordination studies, arch flash, relay settings, conduit fill, lighting, and grounding.
* Develop specifications and datasheets for electrical equipment including transformers, switchgear, MCCs.
* Travel to client project sites to support field walk downs and as-built efforts.
* Monitor allocated resources to ensure that the work performed is within project estimates.
* Works with Design/Engineering Managers to ensure that project schedule will be met, and complete documents are provided for each project.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Minimum of twelve (12) years of electrical engineering experience, preferably in power, energy, oil and gas or other industrial process industries.
* Experience developingone-line drawings, control schematics and wiring diagrams, electrical equipment specifications, power plans, conduit plans, cable schedules, etc.
* Working knowledge of technical Codes and Standards: NEC, IEEE, NFPA, IEC, etc.
* Proficient using Microsoft Office Excel & Word.
* Familiarity with AutoCAD, REVIT or other design software.
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an A.B.E.T. accredited college is required.
* PE License required.

AECOM has a position available for a **Solar Engineer** within the Renewables and Microgrid Team of the Energy Practice Engineering Center of Excellence. For this role, **AECOM offers the freedom and flexibility to work remotely and/or be located at a variety of Energy offices located in multiple locations across the United States** .

* Minimum twelve (12) years of engineering experience and five (5) years in Project Engineering.
* Background in Mechanical or Process Engineering and industrial design.
* Experience with Oil, Gas, Chemical, Power, Industrial Manufacturing, Food & Personal Care and Bioprocessing projects.
* Experience with codes, industry standards and guidelines (ASME, API, NFPA, & PIP, etc.).
* Experience with supervising engineers and designers.
* Experience with Microsoft Office and Scheduling Software (e.g. MS Project, Primavera).
* Client facilities require site visits to gather project information, which may require climbing ladders and stairs.
* Client projects for this position require U.S. Citizenship.
* Degree Requirements: Bachelor of Sciences in Engineering from an A.B.E.T. accredited program.
The Project Engineer will work in a dynamic multi-discipline environment, supporting project Oil, Gas, Chemical and Bioprocessing projects. The individual will direct a multi-disciplined team of engineers and designers, and serve as the primary technical interface with clients, project management, and procurement professionals. The Project Engineer serves as a liaison between the Project Manager and technical disciplines and is responsible for:
* Assisting the Project Manager with managing scope, schedule, and budget.
* Leading design activities and managing design deliverables.
* Ensuring client satisfaction and working closely with the client's technical team
* Coordinating engineering disciplines and managing discipline interfaces
* Managing project resources, technical changes and expediting scheduled activities
