The Opportunity
We are currently seeking our first few AI SolutionsArchitects with a strong track record in specing and deploying machine learning/AI models in customers' environments. These are customer-facing roles.
As a SolutionsArchitect at Pathway, you will be instrumental in bringing Pathway's breakthrough architecture BDH to strategic enterprises. You'll work directly with our highest-impact design partners -handpicked global organizations pushing the boundaries of AI -to co-create production-grade applications of this architecture.
You'll work closely with Pathway's go-to-market team and research engineers to translate BDH's core capabilities-continuous learning, efficiency, interpretability-into scalable reference architectures across our client base. This role works cross-functionally with Sales, Product, R&D, and Engineering to ensure technical success, customer adoption, and rapid feedback into our roadmap.
You Will
Ideate, scope, and build pre-sales technical solutions/reference architectures for BDH deployment within enterprise customer segments.
Partner with our engineers to deploy BDH directly in customer environments, demonstrating measurable improvements over static models.
Collaborate with hyperscaler partners to align BDH deployments with cloud-native infrastructure, security standards, and co-sell motions.
Create solutions and content to accelerate the GTM motion
Partner with GTM to lead technical discovery workshops with CTOs and heads of AI/Innovation
Serve as the bridge between customer environments and Pathway's research teams, synthesizing feedback on BDH's performance, tooling, and integration needs into actionable insights for Product and R&D
Develop reusable solution patterns for enterprise customers as we scale
Codify best practices into internal playbooks and technical documentation to scale BDH' enterprise readiness
What We Are Looking For
Have 5+ years of experience in technical consulting, solutions engineering, or applied AI roles-ideally at a foundational AI model player, an AI scale-up
Have some familiarity with building APIs, data pipelines, and ML integrations
Have a good understanding of generative AI architectures, including experience using or deploying AI models (flagship LLMs / open source LLMs / SLMs)
Have strong systems thinking, ability to map business problems to technical architectures, and anticipate scaling, latency, and operational cost implications
Effective communication, ability to translate business and technical topics to all audiences, including senior leaders
Eager to own problems end-to-end and fill missing gaps to get the job done
Comfort operating in early-stage companies, willing to build out our solution playbook
Humility, collaboration, and a builder mentality
Ability to travel up to 50%.

About the Role
The SolutionsArchitect III serves as the technical and customer‑facing lead for new customer implementations. Provide structured feedback to product, engineering, and operations teams to help shape roadmap decisions and strengthen end‑to‑end solutions delivery.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related technical or analytical field.
3+ years of experience in solution delivery, technical consulting, or systems integration.
3+ years of experience working with supply chain, warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics technology. ERP, WMS, OMS, TMS, or 3PL and 4PL experience is preferred.
Experience with API‑based integrations (REST or GraphQL), file‑based integrations (SFTP, CSV, or EDI), or AS2 and S/MIME workflows.
Familiarity with enterprise or SaaS implementation methodologies.
Experience with EDI or X12 transformation or schema mapping.
Exceptional client‑facing communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts and guide customers through technical decisions.
Strong expectation‑setting skills, including the ability to balance customer needs with feasibility, timelines, and best practices.
Confidence in pushing back when requirements compromise solution quality or exceed scope.

Under the direction of the Director of Design Engineering, the Design Engineering Principal Architect provides technical leadership and accountability for architectural designs on capital projects performed at the South San Francisco and other sites where SSF Design & Construction (D&C) has active projects.
This role engages actively in the upgrades to the portfolio of 50+ buildings / 6M square feet of space and the design and planning of new buildings.
This role is a respected industry expert and engages with the Roche/Genentech internal and industry external network to learn, influence and collaborate on new technologies, best practices and standards, bringing this knowledge and expertise to bear so that project designs provide a safe, code compliant, sustainable and aesthetically pleasing environment to Genentech customers.
The Principal Architect will be an industry expert in the area of architectural design, and will engage frequently with various levels of the organization, acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and advising external design consultants on architectural design.
This role interacts day to day with many project teams, including coordinating with the project managers in Design & Construction and providing design and technical guidance to design vendors and Alliance Partners.
Interact frequently with the leads of similar functions in Genentech REWE (Real Estate and Workplace Effectiveness) and the PTT (Roche Pharma Global Engineering) groups, influencing and aligning on design standards and approaches across the network.
Teach and direct project managers and partners on industry practices and new technologies in their area of technical expertise.
Periodically present to upper management (Director to VP level) to demonstrate business drivers and site strategies surrounding applicable project programs.
Present periodically at industry events as a technical expert.

Project Technical Analysis & Design Guidance:

Expertise involves balancing aesthetics, performance, cost and maintainability in the process of applying innovative architectural design solutions.
The Principal Site Architect will be assigned projects ranging from $.5M to $10M+ for which they will attend key design meetings, provide design input, and options analysis and will ensure adherence to the requirements outlined in the Engineering Manual and/or Engineering Manual Lite delivery process.
The projects will be executed by multi-disciplinary teams, and this role will need to align with, coordinate input from, and influence key customers (R&D, Commercial, Pharmaceutical Technical Operations) and stakeholders (Site Operations, SSHE, Maintenance & Plant Engineering) on project designs.
The Principal Site Architect will also work with the Director of Design Engineering in the management and oversight of other Architectural SMEs brought in as required to manage influx of architectural related work.
A key function of the role will also be to align the many project designs to Roche / Genentech and site specific standards, and to coordinate the scope done on large and small projects into a comprehensive strategy to address needs across the site.
Lead Architectural Design Standard Team:
SSF Design and Construction executes the design work on projects using the services of three alliance architecture firms, each of whom has an assigned lead architect.
This role will lead an architectural design sub-team including the representatives of each of these three firms, along with representatives of Genentech stakeholder groups.
As defined by project needs, this team will be tasked with developing strategies for upgrading deficient areas of the campus through the project portfolio. This team may also engage in the development and review of design standards.
Site Specific Standards:
Responsible for developing site specific architectural design standards. Such standards will be based on Roche/Genentech corporate architectural design standards but will be customized for the South San Francisco and other Genentech sites as applicable.
Development of site standards will involve effectively engaging, involving and influencing site leaders, site operations and customer groups, and will involve incorporating new industry technologies and concepts.
Standards will be updated on a schedule agreed with management, and likely driven by upcoming portfolios of projects in a technical area for which such standards apply.
This role will also be responsible to maintain updated standards in an accessible online portal accessible to partner design firms and stakeholders.
Technical Leadership & Industry / Network Engagement:
The Principal Architect will be a SSF site expert on architectural design, and will develop and maintain a vision for the ongoing development of the buildings on our site.
As such, a key portion of this role is continuous learning, engagement with the Roche Engineering Network (technical experts within the Roche PTA organization and other Roche sites) as well as outside industry organizations.
A portion of this role will be spent visiting other sites, attending (and occasionally presenting) at applicable conferences and industry events, and applying learned skills to the execution of projects at the SSF site.
Finally, a portion of this role will be spent supporting broad Design Engineering & Construction Services process improvement projects and LEAN initiatives, to improve the processes and functioning of the overall team.
Who You Are
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent required.
Registered Architect - Licensed in the State of California.
10 years or more experience in facility/interior design in industry or academia after receiving their Bachelor's Degree, at least 3 of which involved life science laboratory and GMP/pharmaceutical/biotech industry expertise.
Experience as an architectural lead for multiple complex capital projects within the pharmaceutical or related industries.
Significant experience with cGMP compliant design highly desirable (including ability to represent related architectural design and construction aspects to regulatory authorities).

is leading the City's effort to modernize and unify San Francisco's permitting system, making it faster, more predictable, and truly customer-centric. The team is streamlining processes, strengthening accountability, and replacing more than 30 legacy systems with a single, citywide permitting platform launching in 2026.

, a senior technical leader responsible for guiding the City's technical strategy, integration architecture, and system interoperability for the unified permitting platform built on the

solution.
This role focuses on ensuring that
data flows consistently across all permitting systems
, establishing an integration architecture that enables OpenGov to work seamlessly with critical City systems such as Accela, Oracle Forms, and Clariti. The Architect will define enterprise standards, lead architectural decision-making, and work closely with PermitSF, DataSF, Digital Services, the Mayor's Office of Innovation (MOI), and DT to ensure citywide alignment on data governance, API standards, and system modernization roadmaps.
The Architect will also develop the long-term plan for replacing legacy permitting systems and will guide technical decisions that ensure scalability, resilience, and sustainability for the City's new permitting ecosystem.
Essential duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Provide strategic leadership for PermitSF's integration and system architecture, ensuring consistent data exchange and interoperability across departments.
Lead architectural decision-making for connecting OpenGov with City systems, including legacy platforms (Accela, Oracle Forms, Clariti) and City infrastructure (API gateway, cloud, and data platforms).
Establish and maintain enterprise architecture standards covering integrations, data exchange, GIS/addressing, identity, document management, and API design.
Define the integration layer that decouples City systems and user interfaces from OpenGov logic, ensuring long-term flexibility.
Ensure alignment with citywide strategies for cloud, cybersecurity, privacy, and digital transformation.
Architect the system landscape supporting PermitSF, including data synchronization, workflow coordination, data pipelines, GIS services, document management, and API/event-driven integrations.
Occasionally perform light technical prototyping, configuration, or proof-of-concept work to validate integration approaches or architectural assumptions.
Guide implementation partners and vendors to ensure architecture compliance and long-term sustainability.
Advise on configuration tradeoffs to minimize customizations and technical debt.
Develop the roadmap for transitioning from legacy systems to OpenGov, including coexistence and phased replacement strategies.
Define operational standards for integrations, including monitoring, performance, security, and lifecycle management.
Collaborate with DT engineering and operations to ensure long-term platform readiness and support.
Partner with PermitSF leadership, business owners, DataSF, MOI, and Digital Services to ensure solutions align with redesigned workflows and data governance needs.
Act as a liaison across City departments - Planning, DBI, Public Works, Fire, Public Health, DataSF, and DT - to ensure technical consistency and alignment.
Qualifications
Education
: Possession of an associate's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university OR its equivalent in terms of total course credits/units [i.e., at least sixty (60) semester or ninety (90) quarter credits/units with a minimum of twenty (20) semester or thirty (30) quarter credits/units in Computer Science, Engineering or a closely-related field].
Experience
: Five (5) years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution design, or technical leadership roles
SUBSTITUTION
: Additional experience as described above may be substituted for the required degree on a year-for-year basis (up to a maximum of two (2) years). One (1) year is equivalent to thirty (30) semester units or forty-five (45) quarter units with a minimum of 10 semester / 15 quarter units in one of the fields above or a closely related field.
Note: Applicants must meet the minimum qualification requirement by the final filing date unless otherwise noted.
One-year full-time employment is considered equivalent to 2000 hours (2000 hours of qualifying work experience is based on a 40hour work week). Any overtime hours that you work above forty (40) hours per week are not included in the calculation to determine full-time employment.

Incumbent will conduct most of the work at the Department of Technology, 1 South Van Ness, as well as 49 South Van Ness in San Francisco, CA 94103. Meet the team:
Our Staff Information Architect will work closely with Manufacturing, R&D and IT architecture teams to ensure a consistent and effective data architecture approach is established and followed based on Dexcom data strategy, regulatory expectations, and leading practices.
In this role, you will serve as the subject matter expert on data architecture-related topics and work with existing architecture teams to design, develop, and implement target-state enterprise data architecture. You will also work to ensure security around cloud and data sharing while supporting the data leader by defining meta-model and metadata management requirements.
Where you come in:
Develop and deliver long-term strategic goals for data architecture vision and standards in conjunction with data users, data teams, partners, and other key stakeholders.
Work with data leader and architects to design and maintain target-state data architecture, and associated requirements; Proactively share data architecture best practices and expectations across Dexcom
Lead architecture design for data platform(s) including evaluations of vendor platforms for strategic fit
Oversee the mapping of data sources, data movement, interfaces, and analytics, with the goal of ensuring data quality
Provide technical recommendations and engage Architects, Business SMEs and other stakeholders throughout Data Architecture and implementation lifecycle and recommend effective solutions to develop scalable data solutions (data marts/warehouse and data mining and advanced analytics)
Address data-related problems in regards to systems integration, compatibility, and multiple-platform integration
Work with data governance lead in driving single version of the truth, increasing trust and usage of enterprise data across Dexcom
Document data architecture and environments in order to maintain a current and accurate view of the larger data picture
Ensure that data strategies and architectures are in regulatory compliance
What makes you successful:
Expertise in Data Architecture, Data Strategy and Roadmap for large and complex organization and systems and implemented large scale end-to-end Data Management & Analytics solutions
Drive delivery in a matrixed environment working with various internal IT partners
Expertise with normalized OLTP, MDM and DW Dimensional modeling techniques, Star & Snowflake schemas, modeling slowly changing dimensions and role-playing dimensions, dimensional hierarchies, and data classification.
5+ years of Google Cloud Platform experience
Proficient in evaluating data structures and systems to determine when Third Normal Form (3NF) or denormalization offers the most efficiency and scalability
Expertise in Data Quality, Data Profiling, Data Governance, Data Security, Metadata Management, MDM, Data Archival and Data Migration strategies using appropriate tools
Hands-on experience with related/complementary open source software platforms and languages (e.g. Java, Linux, Apache, Perl/Python/PHP, Chef)
Hands-on experience with ETL (Extract-Transform-Load), ELT, streaming stacks (pub-sub, Kafka), Data Stream, Dataflow
Hands-on experience with analytical tools, languages, or libraries
3+ years of DbT experience
Experience in the medical device or FDA regulated space
Google Cloud Professional Data Engineering, Cloud Architect certification

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Security Engineer with a strong background in Go or Kotlin programming and expertise in identity and access management.
