Position Summary
The Department of Business in the School of Arts, Culture & Society at Messiah University invites applications for a term-tenure track faculty position in Marketing beginning August 1, 2026.
Responsibilities
The position includes teaching eight sections of marketing courses throughout the year (Marketing Principles, Social Media Marketing, Digital Marketing, Market Research, and Integrated Marketing Communications). The position will require advising undergraduate Marketing and Business Administration majors, departmental service, oversight of the marketing club, and institutional service.
Qualifications
The University's preference is a candidate who has a doctoral degree in Marketing or an MBA with a focus in Marketing. Teaching at the collegiate level and/or professional experience is strongly preferred. Faculty rank will depend on the hire's qualifications and experience.
The Program
Messiah's ACBSP-accredited Department of Business is the School of Arts, Culture and Society's largest department (************************************** Home to seven business majors and the International Business Institute, the Department provides a collegial environment in which to teach and to conduct other scholarly work. There are currently 10 full-time faculty members in the department. The instruction for most of our Undergraduate programs is conducted primarily in person with occasional online courses.

Qualifications
Minimum of Master of Science degree in biology or related field; doctoral degree is preferred or current enrollment in doctoral study. Candidate should be committed to excellence in teaching in a Christian liberal arts setting.

Messiah University's Department of Biological Sciences offers undergraduate degrees, including:
* Biology with Biomedical, General, and Organismal concentrations
* Biology with Teaching Certificate
* Molecular Biology
* Environmental Science
* Sustainability Studies
The Department of Biological Sciences offers a choice of majors and concentrations that seek to provide students with an understanding of the sciences that enables them to pursue a range of post-graduate options, including graduate school, medical school, the allied health field, or immediate employment in a variety of settings in industry, business, education and government.
