In this role, you will develop a custom AI product design co-pilot tool, specifically tailored for Display & Optics design in VR and Wearables products. This project aims to significantly enhance productivity and accelerate innovation within Meta's Display & Optics mechanical engineering teams by integrating common design rules, key parameters, materials databases, and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) guidelines into a next-generation, AI-powered design platform.Our internships are twelve (12) to twenty-four (24) weeks long and we have various start dates throughout the year. **Required Skills:** Research Scientist Intern, AI for Product Design (PhD) Responsibilities: 1. Review and summarize mechanical design common Display & Optics design rules across optical systems, ET/FT, display module, and varifocal systems 2.
