This role is responsible for the cutting, assembling, and finishing custom floor mats using a variety of materials such as rubber, vinyl, carpet, and foam. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Requirements Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Review and interpret work orders and assembly instructions. Identify and gather required materials and accessories for custom floor mat assembly. Measure, cut, and trim materials using knives, shears, or cutting machines. Assemble components such as top layers, backing, and edging into finished floor mats. Perform annealing processes as required. Apply adhesives or bonding agents as needed. Inspect finished products for quality, size accuracy, and defects. Accurately document production data and report issues to the supervisor. Package and label products per shipping and handling standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace. Follow all safety procedures and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE). Collaborate with other departments as needed to achieve production goals. Operate autonomously and contribute directly to the production floor when needed. Demonstrate positive attitude and adherence to company policies and culture. Follow housekeeping and safety protocols consistently. Adhere to work schedules and be available for overtime as needed. Must successfully pass a measurement/math test and be able to convert feet into inches.
