The CNC Jig Grinder will setup and operate a computer controlled machine to perform one or more machine functions on metal work pieces that remove excess materials or burrs from surfaces, sharpened edges or corners. (Impact gun, torque wrench) o Communicate issues to the team leader or maintenance team should you find an issue. o Work in tight spaces when needed. o Ability to accurately take inventory count of blades on hand as well as grinder screens. o Some lifting is required. o Ability to work 12-hour shift and overtime when necessary. o Ability to troubleshoot issues with grinder once trained and to be able to pass along to team leader or maintenance team. o Able to follow and understand work instructions for completing grinder blade change. o Work in and around chemicals in WTR. Grinder (Entry Level) Shift: Nights - 10pm - 10am Location: Walton Hills Rate: $16-18 per hour depending on experience (+ .75 shift diff for 3rd) + bonus every 6 months Responsibilities include but not limited to: Separate/sort plastic sheets Box, label and weigh inventory Follow grinding schedule Load material into grinder and grind into pellet form to be used for reprocessing into sheet form Tear down/break down/clean grinding machine Stage material for upcoming jobs Previous extrusion experience and knowledge of plastic sheet extrusion process a plus. Regular and punctual attendance Training will include other duties on the production floor to help understand all positions and processes. Performs other duties and assignments as directed by management.
