Minimal requirements for education, knowledge and experience: * Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. * Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. * Knowledge of trigonometry, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: * The ability to quickly and repeatedly react and adjust the controls of a machine or a vehicle to exact positions. * The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem. * Position requires manual dexterity, multilimb coordination, near vision, rate control, arm-hand steadiness, deductive reasoning ability. * The ability to quickly and accurately compare similarities and differences among sets of letters, numbers, objects, pictures, or patterns. The things to be compared may be presented at the same time or one after the other. This ability also includes comparing a presented object with a remembered object. * Work schedule generally consists of 40 hours per week, which may include on-call status, evenings, and/or weekends.

A machine shop is seeking an individual to operate Manual Lathe and OD Grinding Machines and read micrometers. This is a first shift position.

Grinder (Entry Level) Shift: Nights - 10pm - 10am Location: Walton Hills Rate: $16-18 per hour depending on experience (+ .75 shift diff for 3rd) + bonus every 6 months Responsibilities include but not limited to: Separate/sort plastic sheets Box, label and weigh inventory Follow grinding schedule Load material into grinder and grind into pellet form to be used for reprocessing into sheet form Tear down/break down/clean grinding machine Stage material for upcoming jobs Previous extrusion experience and knowledge of plastic sheet extrusion process a plus. Regular and punctual attendance Training will include other duties on the production floor to help understand all positions and processes. Performs other duties and assignments as directed by management.
