ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with the supervision, care for, and inventory equipment and facility.
Oversee and maintain accurate statistics as needed for team sport working in conjunction with the Sports Information Director.
Maintain effective working relationships within the athletic department team and the College as a whole in order to contribute to the overall success of all sport programs.
Positively lead and contribute as a member of the Athletic Department both internally, around the college, and to external groups.
Assist with the oversight of academic progress of student-athletes on the team.
Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS:
Manage and coordinate meetings with appropriate individuals on staff as necessary.
EDUCATION:
Essential: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four year college or university; or High School diploma/GED with related professional playing experience
Desirable: Master's Degree.

Experience as football coach at the high school or college level. Football knowledge and experience.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Valid driver's license. CPR, AED, and First Aid certification.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
Knowledge of football, rules and regulations, including NCAA and NACC (as applicable to football).
Knowledge of principles, practices and techniques of coaching.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Ability to deliver knowledge to and instruct student-athletes in an effective manner.
Knowledge of safety and first aid techniques.
Skill in identifying problems, evaluating alternatives and implementing effective solutions.
Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with a diverse population.
Knowledge of basic computer applications and electronic mail.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Work is routinely performed indoors, in office environments and in gyms, and other recreational environments. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. Off campus travel is required.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Varies, typical office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM with one hour allocated for lunch although weekend and evening hours are necessary depending on scheduled events.
TARGET SALARY RANGE: $36,000 to $40,000 annually

Qualifications
The person holding this position must have a high school diploma or be in the process of acquiring one.
Must bring to this position the ability to relate to all child participants, parents, and school age staff.
Must possess strong language skills both written and oral. Must be adept at public speaking. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from staff, administration, children, parents, regulatory agencies or members of the business community. Ability to write reports and records that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to staff, members, parents, administration, public groups, and Board of Directors.
Ability to interpret and convey daily billing procedures to staff and parents. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions and solve problems. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to reason with others, handle their hostility and develop solutions to problems.
Current CPR and First Aid within 90 days.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Minimum Qualifications

2. Ability to instruct students by explaining, demonstrating and overseeing their exercises and giving advice on the immediate topic.
3. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
4. Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain cooperative and professional working relationships with others.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Associate degree or higher in welding or related field and a minimum of two years' full-time work experience as a welder and successful completion of appropriate ICC weld test OR Community College Certificate (minimum 30credits) OR CWI certification with five years' work experience as a welder.
2. Five years' experience in teaching welding.
3. Two years' experience teaching welding at the college level.
