Monitor and analyze price variances, monitor cost savings and implement cost optimization measures to meet budget and category savings targets
Resolve supply disruptions and coordinate with cross-functional team to ensure timely resolution
Utilize data insights and analytics to guide procurement decisions and provide actional insights to category managers and other internal stakeholders
Drive process improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and accuracy of procurement process for the assigned category
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, business, or a related field
5+ years of relevant experience in global sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management in automotive or Industrial sector
MRP and ERP background in support of the procurement process.
Proven performance in achieving business results within procurement.
Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills, fostering collaboration with global and regional suppliers as well as internal leadership
Extensive knowledge of regional and global supplier networks, with the ability to leverage key industry relationships for sourcing excellence

The base pay hiring rate expected for this position is:

7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, new product development, or procurement within Automotive/Industrial or technology-driven environment.
Strong background in working with cross-functional teams on complex product launches and platform-based development.
Deep understanding of supply chain, commodity markets, and cost structures across direct materials
Proven track record of leading NPD Sourcing strategy in fast-paced, engineering-driven organizations.
Exceptional program management skills and familiarity with phase-gate or Agile development models.
Experience with supplier selection, contract negotiation, and supplier qualification processes.
Familiarity with digital tools (PLM, ERP, cost modeling) and data-driven sourcing.
Excellent communication, influencing, and leadership skills in a matrixed, global organization
Certifications such as PMP, CPSM, or Six Sigma Green Belt is preferred
The base pay hiring rate expected for this position is:
$126,000 - $168,000. This position is eligible to participate in an incentive plan. Metrics and level of participation are determined annually.

In this development program, you will:
* Program Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's)
* Write and deploy complex power transfer and other control schemes including Main-Tie-Main transfer schemes, load shedding/ peak shaving schemes, breaker control schemes, SCADA system development, and generator control.
* Validate system contains proper controls, metering and monitoring. Controls include Power meters, automation equipment (PLC/HMI), protective relays, load sharing, synchronization, etc. per approved drawing package while in factory setting.
