Staffing ratios are generous compared to other facilities I have worked at. Overall I feel that it is safe for patients and staff. I usually have what I need to be able to do my job.
Benefits are not competitive. Health Insurance plans offered in 2025 were horrible. So many coworkers had to change their doctors because they would not accept the newer cheaper plans. Double premiums on top of that. The cheaper dental plans are pitiful. you may as well not have dental because you can't find a dentist who will accept it. Methodist could do a lot better in taking care of their employees by offering more affordable plans. Salaries are not competitive.
It is close to home. Staff work together. They have a cafeteria. Education programs. They do offer benefits.
I have never met the CEO.
More activities after work. It is tough as a new employee to feel part of the team. It can be very clicky.
Applied on LinkedIn. I went through 2 interview processes.
Poor
