Job Summary and Qualifications
Opportunities for Growth:We offer accelerated development programs to support colleagues with career advancement into both CT and MRI. These training programs are fully funded by HCA Healthcare, and selected colleagues complete and are paid for clinical hours during regular shifts.What you will do in this Role: 1. The technologist must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skill necessary to provide care to pediatric, adolescent, geriatric and adult patients. 2. Demonstrates competency in areas of general diagnostic radiography, use of digital equipment, knowledge of the PACS system, positioning, procedure preparation and technical factors. 3. Responsible for the proper use of RIS, Meditech (scheduling exams, patient tracking, image tracking, proper completion of exams, capture charges) 4. Understands and follows infection control/universal precautions in the performance of all job tasks. 5. Accommodates inpatients or requests for urgent exams as the need arises. 6. Observant for image artifacts; clean image detectors as necessary. 7. Possess the ability to assess a situation, consider alternatives and choose an appropriate course of action. 8. Obtains patient history as needed; assists radiologist during procedures, helping to put the patient at ease. 9. Advises supervisor of any equipment issues requiring service. 10. Demonstrates ability to shut down radiologic equipment and/or reboot computers. Additional Job Roles: 1. May have access to radiopharmaceuticals, contrast agents and other non-controlled medications as appropriate to diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. 2. May be called upon to physically witness waste and/or inventory controlled substances with another authorized individual. 3. Responsible for maintaining work area ( this includes cleaning exam rooms as well as mobile equipment and stocking linen). 4. Supports the mission and vision of the Methodist Healthcare System. Understands and is committed to helping the Methodist Healthcare System and its associated facilities achieve its goals. 5. Must learn and comply with System and facility safety policies and rules; must use appropriate safety equipment and procedures at all times; must immediately report all unsafe conditions to supervisors; must be familiar with all safety features of equipment, tools or materials encompassed by job duties; and must check with supervisors (prior to job performance) if there is a question as to the safe procedure to be used for any job function. 6.Adheres to the MHS Code of Conduct and demonstrates ethical behavior as expected by our patients, colleagues and the community. Qualifications:
* Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
* (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer, or Certificate, or Associate Degree
* (ARRT-R) Radiography must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date

Preferred- Current or previous experience in the hospital setting to include PACS system and digital radiology. Minimum License, Certificates, or Registrations Required: Required: 1. Must have and Maintain Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification from Texas Medical Board. 2. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification either at date of hire or within 6 months of hire date.

Understands and follows infection control/universal precautions in the performance of all job tasks. 5. Accommodates inpatients or requests for urgent exams as the need arises. 6. Observant for image artifacts; clean image detectors as necessary. 7. Possess the ability to assess a situation, consider alternatives and choose an appropriate course of action. 8. Obtains patient history as needed; assists radiologist during procedures, helping to put the patient at ease. 9. Advises supervisor of any equipment issues requiring service. 10. Job Summary and Qualifications
The Mammography Technologist is responsible for the performance of mammography and/or assisting with other related radiographic breast procedures (e.g.; galactogram, stereotactic breast biopsy, et cetera). All work performed will be in compliance with Federal (MQSA) and State (Texas Department of State Health Services) regulations as well as with ACR guidelines. Performs high quality mammograms through the use of proper positioning and correct operation of digital mammography equipment. Prepares the mammography room for use before and after procedure. Performs required quality control/quality assurance procedures in accordance with STRIC policy. Documents patient history and previous films, if any. Acquires and maintains computer skills necessary for the proper use of the mammography equipment, STRIC radiology information system and PACS (scheduling exams, patient tracking, film tracking, proper completion of exams, capturing charges, et cetera). Is willing to cross-train in other functions or positions and assume additional responsibilities in order to ensure satisfactory operation of the department or to permit flexible staffing assignments. Job Summary and Qualifications
The Mammography Technologist is responsible for the performance of mammography and/or assisting with other related radiographic breast procedures (e.g.; galactogram, stereotactic breast biopsy, et cetera). All work performed will be in compliance with Federal (MQSA) and State (Texas Department of State Health Services) regulations as well as with ACR guidelines.
* Performs high quality mammograms through the use of proper positioning and correct operation of digital mammography equipment.
* Prepares the mammography room for use before and after procedure. Performs required quality control/quality assurance procedures in accordance with STRIC policy.
* Documents patient history and previous films, if any.
* Acquires and maintains computer skills necessary for the proper use of the mammography equipment, STRIC radiology information system and PACS (scheduling exams, patient tracking, film tracking, proper completion of exams, capturing charges, et cetera).
* Is willing to cross-train in other functions or positions and assume additional responsibilities in order to ensure satisfactory operation of the department or to permit flexible staffing assignments.

Job Summary and Qualifications
What you will do in this Role: 1. The technologist must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skill necessary to provide care to pediatric, adolescent, geriatric and adult patients. 2. Demonstrates competency in areas of general diagnostic radiography, use of digital equipment, knowledge of the PACS system, positioning, procedure preparation and technical factors. 3. Responsible for the proper use of RIS, Meditech (scheduling exams, patient tracking, image tracking, proper completion of exams, capture charges) 4. Understands and follows infection control/universal precautions in the performance of all job tasks. 5. Accommodates inpatients or requests for urgent exams as the need arises. 6. Observant for image artifacts; clean image detectors as necessary. 7. Possess the ability to assess a situation, consider alternatives and choose an appropriate course of action. 8. Obtains patient history as needed; assists radiologist during procedures, helping to put the patient at ease. 9. Advises supervisor of any equipment issues requiring service. 10. Demonstrates ability to shut down radiologic equipment and/or reboot computers. Additional Job Roles: 1. May have access to radiopharmaceuticals, contrast agents and other non-controlled medications as appropriate to diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. 2. May be called upon to physically witness waste and/or inventory controlled substances with another authorized individual. 3. Job Summary and Qualifications
We are seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our ambulatory surgery center. Under the direction of your Physician, you will perform a variety of diagnostic radiographic procedures in compliance with established protocols to promote positive patient outcomes. You will be tasked with upholding the HCA mission, to commit to the care and improvement of human life.
What you will do:
* Prepares patients for exams and procedures. Assesses patient condition prior to and during all radiologic procedures.
* Assemble necessary supplies and positioning aids for scheduling your procedures according to your physician's preference card
* Tests and monitor your equipment for proper working condition
* You will document records and other forms, accurately adhering to approved policies/procedures
* Confirm that all persons in your room are appropriately shielded before activating x-ray
* Communicate information about your patient's status to other staff responsible for your patient's care
* Perform required maintenance of your instruments, supplies, and equipment by adhering to cleaning care, storage, and calibration procedures
Qualifications you will need:
* Graduate of accredited school of radiology required
* 1+ years experience as a RadiologyTechnician required, preferably in an operating room or surgery center setting
* Certification by the American Registry of RadiologicTechnicians (ARRT) Required
* BLS required(Within 30-Days of Start)
* State RadiologyTechnician license required

What you will do in the Role:1. Demonstrates competency in all areas of computerized tomography (CT), positioning, procedure preparation, and technical factors associated with the CT Systems. Will display knowledge in the use of all other equipment used in CT Scan such as: power injectors, stereotactic biopsy equipment, biopsy and drainage needles and devices, and any other devices/equipment used in CT.2. Will follow safety policies and procedures applicable to the job, recognizes impending crisis situations and institutes measures (such as adjusting priorities) to prevent further complications and makes a report to their supervisor.5. Maintains cleanliness and inventory of the CT rooms to include equipment and facilities. Will follow proper disinfection techniques, restocks supplies as necessary, carts or work area will be cleaned and stocked at the completion of each shift.6.
