Key Responsibilities:
Liaison between property staff, Commercial Property Phone Operation (CPPO), technical directors and claims management for all issues related to vendor performance, claims review, and reporting.
Monitors performance of vendors and contractors with thorough tracking and analysis of vendor/contractor quality data. Develops and supervises a comprehensive metrics suite that allows Claims leadership to monitor vendor performance. Provides analysis to find opportunities for improvement with action plans established to address performance deficiencies.
Recommends vendor and contractor performance improvements and the addition/deletion of vendors and contractors in conjunction with claims management. Develops action plans and monitors improvement opportunities.
Partners with Procurement to develop contracts that appropriately uses Nationwide's scale. Contracts will outline cost/billing structure, service levels, loss cost management measures, customer service expectations and require monthly, quarterly and annual self-reporting by vendors.
Conducts re-inspections to track performance utilizing best claims practices, as needed.

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Requires solid understanding of general management practices and Commercial Property claims practices and procedures as they relate to management of contractors, vendors and claims file review. Prefer knowledge of property direct repair processes, estimating systems, and related processes. Able to use both manual and computer estimating techniques. Proven track record of meeting customer needs and providing outstanding service by advising customers of the claims process and ensuring a positive customer experience. Analytical and decision-making skills needed to review files, determine processing problems/solutions and pursue implementation of new procedure/training. Verbal and written communication skills used to interact with all levels of internal and external contacts. Ability to operate personal computer and related software.

This role will foster meaningful relationships with the Personal Lines value chain and capability partners to help align programs to key sales priorities. This role will manage multiple high priority sales enablement processes and projects to drive sales effectiveness and efficiency at the seller level.
Ideal candidates will have Personal Lines Sales experience, as well as demonstrated success influencing without authority. Strong knowledge of our current sales operating processes, CRM and agency reporting programs, marketing rewards and other vital sales programs is important for success.

As a Senior Consultant, you'll contribute to the strategic vision and serve as a top-level contributor for the most sophisticated business transformation initiatives. You will be responsible for leading major process modeling, analysis and design efforts. You'll provide business performance management, organizational design and business risk management capabilities to drive business results.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Serves as a top consultant on all activities relating to business transformation through the strategic application of people, processes and technology. Participates in complex planning processes across multiple departments or business units. Identifies complexities, dependencies and duplications in the business model.
Acts as top consultant on activities and functions relating to business process analysis, organizational analysis, needs assessments and cost/benefit analysis to align information technology solutions with business strategies and directions. Consults with functional groups within Nationwide Technology and internal business clients to develop long-term systems plans.
Leads organizational process management and consultation between business customers and systems area for development and implementation of business processes and procedures. Responsible for communicating to customers, management and external sources.
Identifies the critical elements of a business process that needs to be managed and defines criteria of performance success. Selects and applies appropriate performance measurement tools and reports performance in a cohesive manner.
Contributes, as a subject matter authority, to the analysis and design of organizational structures, roles, responsibilities, governance, staffing and sourcing to support business goals, strategies and process architecture. Leads organization-wide change.
Leads all aspects of training for customers on business, technological, societal and environmental trends to support strategies for improving business performance.
Drives strategic projects involved in evaluating and researching new and existing products, procedures and/or workflow needs associated with business systems. Evaluates new and sophisticated technological developments and evolving business requirements, and recommends appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements.
Provides top-level expertise on the development of compelling business cases, including gaining senior management consensus, to accomplish business objectives.
Provides direction, training and mentorship for less experienced staff. Assigns responsibility for tasks, sets clear objectives and monitors progress and results. Monitors project schedules and costs. Develops project plans, work breakdown structures and desired outcomes for overall solution delivery.
May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Reporting Relationships: Reports to Director/Associate Vice President/Vice President; typically, no direct reports; may have opportunity to lead projects and teams.
Typical Skills and Experiences:
Education: Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information, business, mathematics or related field preferred. Graduate studies are preferred.
Experience: Ten plus years of dynamic experience in planning, designing and implementing company-wide business transformation initiatives. Extensive experience in functional, process, information and data modeling, data management and warehousing, and applications integration. In-depth experience with process redesign methods and tools. Five years of experience in project management is preferred.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Proven knowledge of standards, methodologies and frameworks, business process management and information technology. Deep knowledge of emerging industries and market trends. Understanding of new technologies and developments in the technology industry. Extensive knowledge of project management concepts and techniques are required. Comprehensive knowledge of facilitation, performance management, organizational design and managing organization change. Ability to manage large sophisticated projects that involve high risk and great impact for the company. Proven ability to influence senior management. Strong communication skills and ability to deal with ambiguity.
Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.

WEM Capabilities Consultant - Remote

The WEM Capabilities Consultant is responsible for collaborating with change leads, workforce leadership and operational business partners by evaluating and executing the work and benefit related to our WEM solution tool set - Verint WFM, Desktop Analytics, Performance Management, and Intradiem. This role will be to partner with business participants and workforce teams to oversee the product execution and governance of the solution in our operational environment within service center operations.
This individual will partner with stakeholders to develop, implement, and drive business cases from conception to delivery while ensuring readiness of all other product teams and business participants in the overall ecosystem for each targeted improvement. This position may also collaborate with system administrators of other tools to develop and refine systemic rules for the software suite.
This role is a key member of the Resource Planning & Enablement team and will report directly to the WEM Capabilities Manager. This role requires a strong understanding of business objectives, pain points, all with one goal in mind: Provide best-in-class governance strategy and support by collaborating with change management teams, reporting, and training teams in order to identify the most effective processes, tools, and communication strategy for targeted enhancements.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead administration efforts launching Verint's Desktop and Process Analytics, Workforce Engagement, Work Operations Manager, Performance Management solutions, and Intradiem solutions
Serve as Subject Matter Expert on Workforce Management technology and establish strong partnership with the vendor. Support work efforts that will elevate Northwestern Mutual to a beta-tester role to secure advanced new released of use cases that drive meaningful operating expense reductions.
Administer plans to deliver use cases as well as key metrics for active management and governance.
Identify and enforce key administrative activities, including establishing peer review process, designing, testing and validation of new rules/use cases, and maintaining appropriate reference and change log documentation.
Support creation and design of rules to accomplish new uses and execute on required testing
Effectively partner with operations teams for change management, culture change as well as compliance to the delivered/implemented solution. Monitoring of identified key performance indicators to ensure project is delivering intended benefits and that defined process is being followed
Other Duties as Assigned
Qualifications:
Either Verint Administrative, Intradiem Administrative, or Intradiem Administrative experience required. Verint Desktop Process Analytics knowledge strongly preferred
Between 5-7 years of previous Workforce Management experience, preferably within each role
Bachelor's degree or 2-3+ years equivalent work experience
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
Proven track record for effectively driving change through strong partnerships and engagement with front-line staff, management, and customers
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with individuals at various levels.
Strong presenting and influencing skills. Ability to turn data into a compelling story with a call to action
Ability to identify issues and opportunities and develop solutions with little oversight
