We're hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Air Evac Lifeteam. This technician will be qualified to support our airframe. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.
Responsibilities
Aircraft Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures.
Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company's information security standards.
Take pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow AMTs and operations team.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Two (2) years turbine powered helicopter experience
Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Valid State issued Driver's License
Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge
EMS systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning
Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
Bell 206, Bell 407, EC130, EC135 maintenance experience
FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate
Related experience under CFR Part 135

In 2019, T. Parker Host acquired United Bulk Terminals (UBT) on Mile 55 of the Mississippi River as one of the largest bulk terminals in the U.S. Gulf, specializing in coal and petcoke. This 1,200 acre property in Davant, Louisiana is capable of extensive loading, discharging and storage - with deep-water docks, fleeting capacity for 500 barges and over 40 pieces of heavy equipment to handle cargo loads.
Since the acquisition, HOST has made extensive improvements in systems and equipment, making the facility safer, more environmentally friendly, and more efficient to better serve our customers.
Position Summary: In this position, the team member will operate all terminal equipment to distribute the cargo safely and efficiently to the appropriate cargo holds or warehouse as per the operating plan and instructions; Operate as a member of a team, responsible for coordinating information flow between each crew member and location staff/management in the receiving and loading of cargo.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Performs a wide variety of tasks involving mobile and fixed equipment operation, conveyer systems barge un loadings and vessel loadings. Assist operators and maintenance personnel. Work under direct or indirect supervisor.
Operate D6, D10 dozers, and large front end Loader to build and maintain piles of coal and petroleum coke in line with management pile size instructions. Push product to reclaiming machine in efficient manner to expedite the loading of marine vessels.
Operate any other heavy equipment as needed to perform any work for which the equipment is designed, and operator is qualified for.
Maintains housekeeping standards as part of fire safety program or as designated by location staff/management.
Performs a variety of duties included, but not limited to the attached task lists.

Know and use established safety rules and regulations including “lock out- tag out” procedures.

* Responsible for the safe and reliable daily operation of their tug
* Serve as primary tug vessel operator, safely maneuvering tug and barge(s) throughout the UBT fleet

* Coordinate and conduct scheduled drills with tug, crew and port captain
* Ensure vessels are always clean and well maintained

* Responsible for the safe and reliable daily operation of fleet of two (2) assists tugs

Process Chemical Engineer Duties:
· Responsible for providing process optimization and engineering support for the mill which will include but not limited to, compliance process coordination, lean projects, quality and product safety, and analytical and systems support.
· Develops and maintains methods for tracking and reducing operational costs.
· Ensure that mill rules are enforced and that company policies are followed.
· Coordinate the efforts of our outside resources to improve our operation by filtering and utilizing appropriate information.
Schedule and supervise mill and contract employees as required.

Ability to work 2 weeks on /1 week off schedule (unless otherwise agreed), around the clock shifts and holidays and weekend.
Willingness and ability to be flexible and creative
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook), PDFs, HELM, and use of associated computer, printer/scanner, and work mobile phone.
Physical Requirements:
Physical Must meet “fit for duty” requirements upon job offer (pre-employment physical and drug test)
The employee must meet physical requirements including but not limited to, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing up/down ladders and stairs, negotiating uneven and moving surfaces
Must be physically fit enough to pull heavy lines/hoses, lift, carry heavy items, climb onto barges and up and down ladders.
Must be able to work in difficult conditions with exposure to all weather conditions (rain, ice, snow, wind, heat, etc.)
Must be comfortable working aboard boats and barges using heavy lines, winches, and mechanical tools for repairs
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work at protected heights up to 160 feet.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
