We are currently seeking a skilled Millwright Mechanic to support our Shredder Maintenance team at our Salt Lake City facility. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and essential to keeping our industrial shredder operating safely and efficiently. You'll be assigned to a specific process unit and work alongside a tight-knit team of 4-5 mechanics.
What You'll Do
As a Millwright Mechanic, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving heavy industrial equipment. Your work will directly impact safety, uptime, and production performance.
Key responsibilities include:
Installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery and processing equipment
Troubleshooting conveyors and conveyance systems, including belt tracking and performance issues
Performing precision alignment, leveling, and centering of machinery using lasers, micrometers, levels, and other tools
Installing shims, adjusting clearances, tensioning fasteners, and ensuring optimal equipment performance
Dismantling, repairing, and reassembling machinery and components as part of a team
Performing stick and wire-feed welding as needed
Working with hydraulic systems and diagnosing mechanical failures
Handling rigging activities safely, including inspecting rigging, attaching loads, and guiding lifts
Operating forklifts, lift trucks, hoists, and other mechanized equipment
Completing assigned work on schedule and to specification, with attention to detail and safety
Maintaining housekeeping standards in assigned work areas
Completing required documentation and paperwork accurately
Following Metro Group's Health & Safety standards, including JSAs and risk assessments
What You Bring
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in industrial maintenance or a comparable field
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting ability
Experience with conveyors and precision alignment
Working knowledge of hydraulic systems
Welding experience (stick and wire feed)
Basic electrical and controls knowledge (a plus)
Ability to work safely in confined spaces and around heavy equipment
Valid driver's license
A team-oriented mindset with the ability to take direction and work independently when needed

What You'll Do:
Master the Equipment: You come in as an experienced heavy equipment technician equipped with the necessary skills to diagnose and repair forklifts anything from skid-loaders, trucks and trailers, to large production equipment and material handlers. You will also become a master on our industry specific equipment such as Sennebogan and Liebherr machines.

Level 3 Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of experience maintaining heavy equipment.
Prior experience in operating diagnostic software for troubleshooting.
Prior Field service experience or ability
Prior training in advanced troubleshooting of Loaders, Excavators or other "Yellow Iron" equipment.
Prior experience in leading a team of mechanics
Ability (and willingness) to help train others in mechanical skills and troubleshooting
MSHA Certified (or willing to become certified).
CDL License preferred
Work Schedule:
Second shift - Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

What You'll Do:

The Director of Information Technology is a hands-on leader responsible for shaping and executing Mo' Bettahs' technology strategy across our restaurants and support center. * A/C certification preferred.
* Air brake certified.
* General computer skills.
* Set of tools to perform all functions of job (List of required tools will be supplied)
* Smart phone required to perform job functions. (attendance tracking, work order assignments, safety training and required form submission
* Diagnostic software experience.
* Suspension/Brake system trained for trucks and trailers.
* Electrical and hydraulic schematic understanding.
* DOT Inspection license preferred.
* Ability to lead and/train on equipment PM servicing.
Work Schedule:
* Second shift - Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
