The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Metrocare is part of the Cohen Veterans Network, a national nonprofit network of clinics designed to strengthen mental health outcomes and complement existing support for veterans and military families. We break down barriers to care for veterans, including those from the National Guard and Reserves, active duty, and their families by providing timely access to high-quality care regardless of discharge status or ability to pay. The Cohen Clinic at Metrocare staff is comprised of a diverse and multidisciplinary team of mental health providers, case managers, outreach staff, and administrative staff. We provide individually tailored, evidence-based treatments to adults, children, adolescents, couples, families, and groups. The Qualified Mental Health Professional CCBHC IA & Assessment QMHP is a member of the clinical treatment team. They are responsible for working with youth, adults, and their families in a manner that is trauma-informed and responsive to needs, culture, gender, and military status. The Qualified Mental Health Professional CCBHC IA & Assessment QMHP is responsible for collaborating in the development of a person-centered and family-centered recovery plan aimed at helping every individual achieve their goals and objectives. The QMHP position is responsible for applying a holistic approach in assessing needs, developing safety plans, and providing any other clinical services of benefit, including case management, psychosocial rehabilitation, and skills training. This position maintains responsibility for a 100% productivity expectation.
HOURS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Monday-Thursday 1pm-10pm and Sunday 8am-2pm. The two days in the clinic as the Assessment QMHP will be on Sunday and Monday. 40 hours work week: Extended hour clinic: Monday-Friday 5p-10p and Saturday-Sunday 8a-2p
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a member of the treatment team, the QMHP applies a strength-based and trauma-informed approach, working collaboratively with individuals in service along with internal and external treatment team members to help support clients on a path to treatment and recovery.
Together with clients, help to identify needs and develop individualized, person centered/family centered recovery
plans that reflect client's goals and objectives. Review and update the plan as needed.
As needed, conduct screening and assessments, utilizing Texas Recovery and Resiliency criteria, to determine the appropriate level of care. Based on the assessment and individual preferences, the QMHP refers individuals in service to the most appropriate treatments available.
Work with the consulting psychiatrist to ensure that clients' behavioral health needs are addressed and help to facilitate and integrate the psychiatrist's recommendations.
Models and supports clients in health and wellness activities and with using healthy coping skills.
Facilitates psycho-education groups and life skills development groups as needed.
Maintains continuous services to an assigned caseload by providing Engagement, Outreach, Case Management, and Psychosocial Rehabilitation services.
Attends and participates in all scheduled team meetings.
Collaboratively develops safety/crisis plans
Maintains confidentiality of all reports concerning staffing and consumers.
Contribute to team knowledge and understanding of each consumer. Assists the medical and nursing staff in monitoring by reporting potential problems.
Assist clients in linking with resources and a system of natural support.
Help monitor and assess consumers on an on-going basis; including provision of additional services as needed.
Assists individuals in adjusting to new environments.
Completes paperwork requirements and maintains quality, up-to-date clinical records. Document any clinical or support services within 24 hours of providing the service.
Works with family members/support system to gain support in everyone's success.
Crisis intervention as needed.
Knowledgeable about and remains in compliance with internal and external policies, procedures, regulations, and standards, including, for example, all Metrocare policies and procedures and Quality Assurance Plan, all applicable regulatory standards.
The position provides clinic-based services on Mondays and Sundays. The remainder of the positions time is spent providing clinical services in the community.

The Recovery Support Peer Specialist is an individual in recovery who has been trained to effectively use their recovery story to help and support other individuals with their recovery. The Recovery Support Peer Specialist performs a range of tasks through individual and group sessions to assist consumers in their own recovery process as part of substance use services. They will serve as a role model and demonstrate competency in recovery and ongoing coping skills, serve as a consumer advocate, and will provide information and peer support in the community. The Recovery Support Peer Specialist will also provide essential expertise and consultation to other team members in promoting a recovery-oriented culture. The Recovery Support Specialist will facilitate and/or co-facilitate peer-to peer discussion groups as well as individual sessions with individuals in services using a person centered recovery model.

Support of the Registered Behavior Technician/Behavior Intervention Specialist will include behavior data entry, creation of learning materials, and provide staffing coverage. The Senior RBT will carry a caseload of individuals receiving ABA treatment.

Plans and implements the installation of natural gas pipelines and potable or wastewater pipes, including the cost projection for parts and man-hours to support the installation of improvement projects.
Instructs and educates lower-level plumbers in the uniform plumbing code, the use of plumbing tools, and plumbing practices to qualify them for more responsibility and promotion.
Serves as a crew leader to ensure jobs are completed according to code and maintains leave use, hours worked, and performance records on lower-level plumbers.
Measures, cuts, and threads iron pipe for natural gas pipelines or water/wastewater lines.
Removes clogs from wastewater systems using manual and/or small power tools.
Makes minor mechanical repairs to small water or fuel pumps; maintains, repairs, and fixes irrigation lines and related issues.

The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Metrocare is part of the Cohen Veterans Network, a national nonprofit (501c3) network of clinics creating an opportunity for Veterans and their families to receive affordable outpatient mental health treatment. With a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, case managers, and veteran outreach workers, the clinic will provide evidence-based, individually-tailored outpatient mental health treatment tailored to meet the specific needs of Veterans, particularly post-9/11, and their families.
The Clinical Psychologist provides evidence-based care to veterans and their families. Care provided is culturally responsive. Opportunities for training and supervision are available.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs and documents patients screenings, psychosocial assessments, and progress and referral information. Conducts clinical intake assessments on veterans and family members as needed. Collaborates and coordinates with the caregiver, physician, director, case management and all other disciplines to provide the best care to patients as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
A Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or (Psy.D.) degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA accredited psychology program. Shall have completed an APA accredited internship/residency in professional psychology.
Training and expertise in evidenced-based psychotherapies preferred.
Experience across a range of modalities beyond individual adult treatment to include child, couples, family, and group treatment is preferred.
Must have experience treating and diagnosing posttraumatic stress as well as comorbid diagnoses (e.g., anxiety), with evidence-based treatments and providing clinical supervision in these areas.
Experience working with a military or veteran population is preferred.
3+ years of clinical experience is preferred.
Experience utilizing an electronic health record is required.

This position will provide telephonic crisis assessment with the City of Dallas 911 call center dispatch. The role of the behavioral health clinician is to screen and assess for risk harm, to identify the level of priority for the call. The clinician will work in conjunction with the City of Dallas staff and Dallas Police Department and assist in communicating, prioritizing, and coordinating care as deemed clinically appropriate at the time of the call.
HOURS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Shift 1-7am-3:00pm and Shift 2- 2:00pm-10:00pm

The Dietitian for ECI is responsible to provide nutritional assessments, education, plans and support to ECI children and families.
HOURS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Our hours of operation are Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm.
The Dietitian for ECI would be expected to be available to provide services and attend required meetings/training during these operational hours.

The LPHA Interventionist uses a basic knowledge of diagnostic characteristics, symptomology of primary mental illness and knowledge of medications, side effects and benefits to provide services in a person-centered, supportive, office-based environment. This position is monitored by periodic supervision.
