MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Varsity Head coaches need Five (5) years of head coaching in Basketball at the high school, college or club level. • JV and Freshman Head coaches need three (3) years of experience playing and coaching Basketball at the high school, college or club level. • Varsity and Freshman Assistant coaches need one (1) year playing or coaching Basketball at the high school, college or club level. • A verifiable record of having been part of a winning tradition, including post season C.I.F. playoff competition as a coach is desirable. • A proven verifiable record of positive staff, student and administrative support and relationships. • A proven verifiable record of placing appropriate emphasis on good sportsmanship, academic excellence, positive attitudes and character. • A demonstrated ability to work with parents and athletic booster clubs. • A demonstrated ability to serve as a positive role model for student athletes and a commitment to holding all students and adults associated with the program to the same standards. • A long term commitment to develop and sustain a positive, winning tradition. * * * * * * * * * * JOB REQUIREMENTS Applicants must be certified under Title V, C.C.R. Section 5593 and 5594, prior to the beginning of the CIF season of sport. The training and certification is available to all coaches on-line at ***************** .
