Summer Internship Program The program is a 12-week paid internship immersive experience that provides functional learning working on robust and challenging project work, Executive and Senior leadership engagement, and exposure to Danaher Business System fundamentals. This position is part of the R&D department located in Fargo, ND or Waltham, MA and will be on-site. You will be a part of the DNA R&D team and report to the Director of DNA R&D and work alongside our experienced scientists. The R&D Intern for Aldevron is responsible for carrying out general research laboratory activities under moderate supervision. They will help develop innovative methods/products and will follow SOPs when applicable. They will design and execute experiments, interpret data, and communicate results at regular team meetings. For a given project, laboratory techniques might include mammalian cell culture, cloning, in vitro biochemical assays, DNA amplification and nucleic acid purification and characterization. The role offers frequent opportunities to interact with other functional groups including product management, process development, and manufacturing.
