What will I be doing? A Buffet Attendant is responsible for Setting up, maintaining, and breaking down buffet or food bar. This task is to be handled in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely and professional manner resulting in a very high level of guest satisfaction. Specifically, you would be responsible for the following: * Replenish needed food and supplies by retrieving items from the kitchen and storerooms to ensure adequate food amounts are always maintained. * Set up buffet food bar as instructed by manager through verbal and/or written communication. * Recommend and describe buffet items to guests using a clear and pleasant speaking voice. * Visually check station before, during and after shift for proper set-up, cleanliness and aesthetically appealing presentation of food bar * Lift and place trays of food into the buffet bar efficiently and quietly and according to safety standards.
