This is a large and busy Radiation Oncology department located in two locations within the hospital and requires a therapist to be on call for add on or urgent cases. Call is rotated on a weekly basis among the 11 therapists. The department consists of three Linear Accelerators and two CTs. They also provide High Dose Rate Brachytherapy in the department. Delivers radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. Prepares patients for a course of Radiation Therapy inclusive of simulation, dose calculations and acquiring of treatment parameters. They partner with the providers and the nursing team to deliver high quality care to our patients and are the connecting link between the Radiation Therapy team and the department manager. Summary: This position is for a part-time casual (as needed/PRN) Procedural Rad Tech opening at Dublin Methodist Hospital, located in Dublin, Ohio. Part-time casual associates do not have a regular weekly schedule but are required to work 96 hours within a 6-month period on as needed basis. The Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventional Cardiologist for diagnostic and interventional procedures in roles that include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating. The technologist must have knowledge of the X-ray equipment in use, hemodynamic monitoring, coronary and peripheral anatomy, and sterile technique. Responsibilities And Duties: 85% Radiologic technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventionalist in specific area as described above in summary for each area. 10% Greets patients upon arrival to department. Checks chart for required data (i.e., informed consent). Reports absences or abnormalities to RN/physician. Explains procedures, gives instructions, and answers patients' questions. Participates in room turnover and transporting of patients. (5%) Assists Radiation Safety officer in QA of labs and radiation protective apparel on regular basis. Performs tasks using radiation safety principles; checks lead aprons for tears; reports findings and removes inadequate gear from service; maintains accurate records or work with Radiology department to maintain records. Summary of opportunity: Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, the Medical Director-APP will provide leadership and supervision to all aspects of Kennedy Community Health's Framingham MA primary care clinic. The Medical Director-APP will spend part of their time overseeing the Provider staff as well as maintaining a patient panel of their own. The Medical Director-APP's weekly schedule will include onsite and remote hours. In addition, the this person will ensure that Kennedy Community Health abides by its established quality controls to ensure that the best interests of the organization are kept in mind while providing quality health care. Responsibilities: Provides clinical and administrative oversight including productivity, scheduling, clinical protocol development and implementation. Provides operations or administrative supervision to all Medical Providers on the Primary Care team Provides clinical supervision to advanced practice provider medical staff (NPs/PAs) Participates in Medical Leadership Team to make recommendations and promote consistency Provides clinical oversight for the development and implementation of health center programs. Clinical Responsibilities: Examines patients of all ages, formulates diagnostic plans, defines and orders required diagnostic testing. Educational and Experiential Requirements: Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner License or Physician Assistant License in Massachusetts. Active, unrestricted MCSR and DEA Experience and skilled with caring for all ages (0-geriatric) Knowledge of management and supervisory principles and practices. 7+ years of primary care or similar environment experience Supervisory experience preferred but not required The Health Center requires all employees to have the most recent COVID19 Booster and the yearly Flu Vaccine.
