Veterans are in need of evaluations (DBQs) for their service-connected disability exams, and we are searching for healthcare providers looking to supplement your income and fill gaps in your schedule while helping Veterans receive the benefits they've earned. You will be conducting disability assessments for veterans in your office. This is a contract position which offers: Supplemental Income: Earn extra revenue without taking on additional clinical shifts or compromising your current patient load. Flexible Schedule: Integrate these assessments into your practice as it suits your availability. Primary Job Responsibilities &Duties: * Provides leadership, coaching, supervision, training, and professional development for assigned staff. * Serves as a primary United Way Broward (UWB) administrator for Youth programs, Suicide Prevention Initiatives, and associated grant activities. * Oversees contract administration for Youth Opportunities Programs-including Choose Peace, ReadingPals, Project Empowerand Behavioral Health/Drug Prevention coalitions-ensuring utilization management, outcomes tracking and quality assurance. * Directs the daily implementation of the Coalition's Suicide Prevention efforts and ensures alignment with the Prevention Strategic Plan. * Tracks program activities and performance metrics; analyzes and reports digital and social media trends; and collaborates with partners to promote, develop, and implement initiatives that advance Coalition goals. * Manages the Community Impact process, including subject-matter analysis, information synthesis, and the development of procurement processes and materials (RFPs, RFAs, notices, agendas, manuals, fact sheets, and statistical summaries). * Designs, implements, and evaluation of all Behavioral Health initiatives connected to the Zero Suicide framework and related committees. * Develops and executes the annual operational plan for the United Way's Suicide Prevention Coalition. * Monitors community indicators to assess emerging issues, evaluate program effectiveness, and collaborate with community leaders on tools and strategies that strengthen the community's capacity to identify, address, and fund priority needs. Other Job Duties: * Coordinates activities and communications with state, county, and local commissions, networks, councils, and partner organizations connected to Coalition and Youth Opportunities programming. * Represents UWB at Behavioral Health Systems and Providers meetings, subcommittees, public events, and other community functions. * Participates in Board of Governor meetings, leads the Be Well Broward subcommittee, and other internal/external committees at the local, state, and national levels. * Builds and strengthens partnerships with schools, nonprofits, businesses, Asusveterans' groups, primary care clinics, and other community organizations to advance the Broward Suicide Prevention Coalition and related initiatives. * Enhances alignment and cohesion across community efforts addressing trauma, suicide prevention, and behavioral health. * Monitors performance, outcomes, and compliance of all grant-funded and contracted programs, ensuring ongoing quality and fidelity. * Conducts bi-weekly supervision of direct reports to offers technical assistance, coaching and consultation. * Formulates, implements, and evaluates programs to assess outcomes, effectiveness, and efficiency, using both qualitative and quantitative data. * Oversees execution and management-including monitoring and evaluation-of all contracts within assigned Community Impact areas. * Ensures all programs meet Council on Accreditation (COA) service standards and actively participates in COA and Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) meetings. * Asist in the implementation of policies and procedures for Coalition activities and associated Youth serving programs. * Directs strategic management and operations within assigned areas to support continual improvement aligned with organizational vision and mission. * Participates in strategic planning for youth opportunities and community-building initiatives, assessing resource needs and developing responsive solutions. * Works with the VP of Youth Opportunities and the Chief Impact Officer to develop and coordinate an integrated marketing and communications plan. * Facilitates regular planning sessions and supports an information-sharing network among Youth Opportunity Programs. * Creates informational materials, presents to business and community leaders, and serves as an internal/external subject-matter lead, including veteran services. * Represents UWB at both public and private gatherings to promote programs, initiatives, and community partnerships. * As part of UWB's leadership role in the community, actively participates in the organization's crisis response plan and fulfills duties required during emergency or disaster situations. * Performs additional tasks and assumes related responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor. Supervises: Program Managers, Managers and Prevention Specialist Education & Experience: * Master's degree in Human Services preferred , Bachelor's degree required. * Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in progressively more responsible job-related positions in program administration, high-level grant management and Mental Health. * Experience managing community collaborations, program development and/or management, program evaluation, preferably in the Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse arena. * Knowledge and direct experience working with the Broward County School Board, the Department of Children and Families, and human services organizations serving at risk Youth. * At least 5 years of progressive supervisory experience required. * Proficiency required in MS Word, Excel and other relatedcomputer programs required,and research relatedsoftware preferred. * Strong fiscal/budgeting experience required.
